"We are meeting up with one of our guys today boss."

The thoughts of the half half colored male were interrupted with a soft voice of his friend, voice of the person which helped him to get this hero company where it is, one of his good friends he knew he could trust.

"Tch, I thought i told you to stop with the boss thing Alex."

Shoto barked back at the male, getting up from the table, hands in his pockets, wearing a white long sleeved shirt with dark colored jeans today, after the night of lookout yesterday he wasn't sure in mood for some work clothes.

"That's a habit Shoto. You gonna get used to me calling you like this."

"So.."

Shoto interrupted him, this time his gaze was serious and Alex knew that there was no joke this time.

"Where is this broker?"

Alex sighed, aware that Shoto wasn't fond of the brokers, even if it was one of their own, that they could sell information with such an ease for a hand of money.

"I know what you are thinking boss. But this guy is okay."

Shoto raised an eyebrow.

"You know what happened last time when we got information, and I am telling you, no one is going to kill my people."

Alex's hands were up in defense.

"Don't worry. I am taking full responsibility for this, and we need that information on the Black rose."

"Was he again guarding that police girl?"

Voice interrupted both of them, it was really calming voice with such a certain tone, with hope of getting information to where her boss was.

Alex: Oh Emily.

His gaze softened to the blonde haired girl, with big green eyes.

She had a beige outfit today, long knee skirt with white buttoned shirt, documents in her hands and glasses on her lovely nose.

Emily: Don't Oh me you fool! You promised to take me out!

She yelled at annoyance, finding Shoto's eyes, and then looking away.

Alex: Look sweetheart.... we big boys have some serious conversation to do so you better--

Emily: Don't you go all sweet on me!

She left papers on the table, going out, Alex seeing that she was clearly pissed off, suddenly a silence getting in his office for the first time, and sun welcoming him.

"She isn't married by the way boss."

With that Alex closed the door.

"Tch what the fuck is that fool on abou--"

Then the realization hit him.

He was leaning in on his table, sighing.

"I already know that."

He took out his phone and dialed one certain number.

"Hello?"

"Midoriya."

"Shoto, what's going on?"

Midoriya had serious voice, knowing that this wasn't just a call. Something was up, and he had to call up Uraraka too.

"We are going out today. Invite Uraraka."

"Yeah. Lovely day for going out Shoto. See ya there."

"Alex what the hell are you on about?"

Voices were heard in the hall of the building, leaving Shoto's office walking to a certain destination, Alex's girlfriend getting curious about the words that left his lips, about words that told their boss that 'girl isn't married."

"Who is that girl?"

Emily saw that she isn't going to get her answers, she saw that her boyfriend wasn't going to spill the beans, even though they were together he had moments like this to just shut himself off and not tell her.

"Emily... you know really well that this isn't conversation for--"

"You are talking about that police girl right?"

A short figure interrupted both, wearing blue working dress with white buttoned shirt and weird bots but it matched with her personality, she was really silent girl with a lot of knowledge that made Emily wonder how on earth could the girl know so much about stuff going around and not talk as much.

"Violet.... you scared me..."

Emily mumbled, looking at her, being sure that she would give her information she needed.

"Why are you so obsessed with Shoto though... Emily...?"

Alex's voice left his lips, him actually getting really curious for the first time, because his girlfriend really wanted to butt in this one, and for him it kinda was strange. He could shrug it off of course, he had hope that she will actually stop with questions... so ... stop with it.. Emily' his mind said, taking the papers from his girlfriend, walking ahead just a bit.... with hope that she wont ask Violet about it.

"Violet, who is that police girl?"

Emily asked, with short girl standing there and thinking, should she or should she not say.. since for the first time she didn't had enough information about current situation and that maybe Shoto's interest towards this woman was just business kinda thing, since after all every hero group in his company had to follow up police units if mission for them was way too dangerous, like yesterdays case. But his way of insisting that he will go... that Todoroki Shoto will go himself made Violet ask herself to why would a man such as him decide on going right away and not giving the police squad to other hero group.

He just got back from Los Angeles and he insisted on going even though he didn't had time to unpack or just relax a bit.

"I have no information on her sadly, but truly Emily this is just one of the squads we have to guard so it's no big deal..."

Violet shrug walking away towards Alex that gripped his phone, not even sure why he got so mad at his girl but more so... mad at his friend.

"Don't forget... today few of us are going, be ready and take low profile. Got it Emily?"

Violet barked at her, making the girl annoyed and her voice went into being really cold and sharp.

"What did you say you--"

"You heard me. Shoto is counting on us."

With that she left the girl.

"Tch... you just recently joined and you think you ll be his little puppet... "

Emily muttered.
