"Is Capt okay?"
Your eyes were looking at the wall, being upset from lack of information, upset that you saw the man, annoyed that you managed to lose one good trail... you needed only one...
Mineri and Shojiro were looking towards your office, seeing you through the glass, just sitting there and figuring out something.
"What's up with you Mineri?"
Shojiro asked her.
"Huh... why are you asking me that?"
She played with her hands unsure to why did he bother to ask such a thing... is it showing.. was she too upset with the certain knowledge she got yesterday?
"You seem upset."
Shojiro mumbled.
"E..Eh?! I am perfectly fi..fine! Idiot! Imma go to work!"
Shojiro raised an eyebrow, since the girl was way too strange today...
Did that Jiro chick told her something?
His mind trailed and then you walked out of your office.
"Capt."
He said, waiting on your orders.
"Shojiro. Mineri and you are going out with me on patrol today. I need to check up something."
You mumbled going ahead, him starring at you, making you stop at your track, your back turned towards him, holding the dorknob.
"What? Didn't you hear me?"
Your cold voice went out, sharper than you wanted it to be, but you wanted to go out and not be in the 20 questions game.
"I did. But, are you going to be alright?"
He asked, his voice was calm and gentle towards you, as if you were a child that is at the verge of crying.
"You have 5 minutes to gather up. Yuga is waiting on us. Alright?"
With that you closed the door and went outside, breathing the air, feeling the strong metal from factories that worked, some of the smoke from the cars, people not carrying about it, rushing and bumping on each others on the already busy street, you coming towards the car with Yugo sitting in it, having a mask on his face with certain disgust.
"Still not going to get rid of it?"
You mumbled getting into the car, closing the door and breathing his perfume, strong one indeed, seems that his boyfriend liked it, and he had it every time he would get back from the date or when he had to go on one.
"No can do Capt' mask stays'.
"How is Shane?"
His eyes found yours, big blue orbs and goldish short hair, white skin and strange necklace he had on his neck.
Blue uniform was good on him, but he also preferred a lot of gray blue clothing with bit of pink on them. You got used to his strange style, and he was good worker, good police officer, good friend and he was good at being civilian police officer but this case needed him in outfit right now.
"Found anything new?"
You tried to pursue some kinda of talk since it was weird silence unusual for him, seems that something happened and he was not willing to share information, seems that he had his own thoughts since he just came back from his vacation so maybe something happened with his boyfriend.
