Nico smiled at Bianca as they were making two cards for their mama. Their papa was out picking flowers for her as the two children colored cards. Nico drew a green heart and basic flowers as Bianca added glitter to her card. She was basically dumping the entire bottle onto the card.
They both wrote their names just as Hades or 'Tomasso' came home with a handful of colorful flowers. A true smile planted on his face that was rarely ever appearing. He went upstairs to see Nico and Bianca finishing their cards. "Nico, Bianca come in let us show mama your beautiful gifts." Hades told them in Italian
The two grinned and stood up with their cards to go give them to their mama. The three walked downstairs where Maria was sitting on the couch, sick. Nico ran up to her first and hugged her, "Happy Mother's Day mama!" He cheered, Bianca soon to follow behind him.
Maria smiled at her two children and wrapped them in a hug. She smiled up at Hades as he kneeled next to where she was laying down. "Happy Mother's day, my love. My life. My lady of the light." Hades said and kissed her forehead. Even in the mist of World War Two there could be true happiness despite the war raging on outside of the house.
