Knowing it all
===============================
Iris was at the training yard, that's where she always is. She skipped breakfast and she had tummy aches but she shrugged it off. She was determined to learn the spell Amura failed to teach her.
'I'm too tired Iris' she mimicked clearly annoyed by the sloth she called her best friend. She focused on the weapon she wanted to materialize. She closed her eyes, she felt the energy surging through her limps, a purple close to black mist covered her hand and she rose her hand. She opened her eyes and was greatly disappointed by the sight."So you wanted a pocket knife?" Iris scoffed at the blonde haired girl.
"You know exactly what I wanted Amura" Dark purple mist surrounded the pocket knife until it disappeared.
"Its Ara to you. And for the record, you can't keep starving yourself" Ara brought out a lunch bag and handed it to Iris.
"You are luckily I love you so much to pack some lunch for you"Iris smiled at the thought that someone like Ara could do something so sweet for her.
"Thanks Ara"She took the lunch bag from Ara and was welcomed by the aroma of the food when she opened the bag.She immediately dug into the food.
They were currently on the green grass in the training yard. Ara had been with Iris ever since the Queen brought her to Quarin. Ara was not only a trained warrior but she was the daughter of a wizard in Quarin so she had powers within her. Ara had the ability to create weapons, that was her specialty. Iris on the other hand had just discover her powers. She figured it was the gem's doings since she never developed it in her early years. She sometimes would hear strange voice in her head but she always shrugged it off. During her recent birthday , Her aunt gave her spell book , that belonged to a former soucerer she knew very well. Iris couldn't forget about the tragic incident involving the death of her mother. Ever since that day, Iris hadn't cry , more like she couldn't cry. Her mother's words always flashed in her mind '...seekers don't cry...'. She loved her mother for her brave attitude and confidence. She still hadn't heard from her brother, Livian, but she believe he was in a safe place.
"Iris, are you ok?" Ara cut her train of thoughts.
"Um...yeah I'm fine. Just distracted ,that's all" Ara wasn't her only friend but she was her closest friend. She acted like a mother sometimes and she could be annoying. Very annoying. But those were there little things Iris loved about Ara.
"Hey Iris, have you started using the spell book?"
"Um...yeah. Actually I have fully developed in spells" Iris said with such pride.She memorized every single spell in the book and felt like she mastered everything in the book.
"Yet you couldn't summon a sword in your hands" Ara chuckled a little. Even Ara knew how powerful Iris was. Her powers couldn't even suffice hers. But then Ara thought Iris wasn't using much of her mind to use her power. She did like how much Iris was committed in using her powers but she felt that Iris was over working herself.
"I will teach you the weaponry spell"Ara rose from the grass and reached out her hand to help Iris stand up.
"Just follow my lead and do as I say"Iris nodded in understanding. Actually this was the only spell she failed to do.
