Chapter 5: Water

Iris jolted up from her bed when she heard the front door unlock. Realizing the situation she was in, she got out of bed immediately and walked to the entrance of the store. There she met Grace and Jennifer.

"Good morning Iris" Grace said as she laid her eyes on Iris.

"Good morning, can I help you open up the store?" Iris asked politely.

"You have your own problems, have you forgotten today is your first day of school?' Jennifer raised her eye brows at the girl and it was at that time Iris realised.

"How much time do I have?" Grace checked her wrist watch.

"Two hours. Don't worry we'll help you with everything." Iris smiled at the girls and then the two girls dragged her to the backroom. Iris was lucky there was a little washroom where she could do her hygiene routine. She had wore the clothes Jennifer had chosen for yesterday and did some light makeup (courtesy of Jennifer) and materialized a bag and some books.

Grace had offered her a ride but Iris declined saying she wanted to walk a bit.Before she left, Grace stopped her and gave her a watch.

"Take this with you. If you need help just tap in it and we'll there ok?" Iris nodded as gripped on the watch. Before Irisleft she turned towards Grace and Jennifer and smiled.

"Thank you" Was all she said be for she left the store. Jennifer had given her the direction to the school and planned on buying some breakfast before she went on. When she arrived at the breakfast cafe, she checked her time. 'I hour 27 mimutes'. She had ordered her food and eaten it once it arrived. She kept on walking to the University. Finally the school came into her view and shed be lying if she said she didn't feel nervous of the whole situation. 'What if Zaria does something to stop her from achieving her goal?' She thought to herself. After what she heard from Grace and Jennifer , she felt bad for not coming to find the kings earlier to stop Zaria. She entered the school and had to admit that the school was big. She walked around the hall like a lost puppy until she bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm new here and I was trying to find the principal's office." Iris said hastily and she helped the girl she bumped into stand up. Iris realized that the girl was a wufully looking at her gem and it ticked her off. Immediately she helped the girl stand up on her feet, she hid her necklace in her top.

"Don't worry about it. I'm Lily and I will help you find the principal's office." Iris had a bad feeling about the girl but she shrugged it off. She followed the girl and knocked on the principal's office. Just as she was about to thank the girl, she wasn't by her side. She then heard a 'come in'. Iris turned to her left and her right again makung sure that nobody was around to see. She waved her hand in her air, purple mist surrounding her wrist and penetrated the door, hopefully her spell worked.She opened the door and there stood a woman in her early 40s wearing a grey suit and pencil skirt with a glasses.

"You must be Iris." Iris simply nodded her head as she smirked and thank her gods that her spell worked.

"Here is your schedule and I hope you enjoy your stay in our school" The principal said as she handed her schedule,  her eyes glowing a bright shade of purple. Iris just smiled at the woman and went out of the principal's office.
