"What?" Rainbow Steve yelled over the thunder outside. "But, how?"

Emburn looked at Sabre, worry in her eyes.

"You guys brought him here, didn't you," Green Steve pointed a finger at Sabre, "You're working with him!"

Sabre held up his hands as if surrendering, "I assure you, we are not working with him. We're against him as much as you guys are."

"Oh, sure," Green Steve went on, "That's what they all say!"

Emburn stood in between the two. "That's enough!"

The window next to the friends broke suddenly, glass flying everywhere along with smoke which blinded them. Sabre covered his eyes as they burned. The smoke clears slowly, and Sabre saw the broken window on the other side of the smokescreen. Hovering in the middle of the broken glass in the side of the tree trunk was Nightmare Steve. Horror flooded Sabre.

"What do we do?" Rainbow Steve's voice sounded as if he were about to cry of fear.

Emburn glared at Nightmare Steve. Nightmare Steve laughed. "Goodness, Emburn. I haven't seen you so angry in your life! Except for the time when you lost the blue Power Skull from the SkeleKing."

"The blue Power Skull was my friend's," Emburn said, "You were the one who lost the red Power Skull and Radecore wanted to kill you."

"So what?" Nightmare Steve said, "I have the blue Power Skull, the red Power Skull, the yellow Power Skull. Now I just need these phonies dead and the green Power Skull and I can build my next creation!"

Emburn growled. "You don't even know how redstone works."

Nightmare Steve shrugged. "Unless I get that green Power Skull of yours, I will have all the knowledge I need."

Ember grabbed the skull necklace around her neck. "You won't get your dirty hands on my power source. Not as long as I live!"

"I guess I'll have to kill you too." Nightmare Steve blasted a stream of fire right in Emburn's chest. Emburn flew back and crashed into the wall. She instantly scrambled to her feet.

"Run!" Emburn yelled at Sabre and the others. "You won't survive!"

"Neither will you!" Sabre yelled back.

"I can handle it, I'll tell you about what I mean when I find you again! You got to run!" Emburn yelled after a fireball flew past her head. "Now!"

Sabre could not hesitate. He ran out the door followed by Rainbow Steve, Green Steve and Lucas. He didn't know where he was going, he just knew it was away from death. He could hear Rainbow Steve's fearful breath behind him along with Lucas's and Green Steve's. Sabre burst out of the forest followed by his friends and across a sunflower field. They past a waterfall and a couple caves until they came to another forest. Sabre quickly raced for it when suddenly the land around turned black.

                                                                                       * * *

Nothing happened for about an hour in the dark place. Sabre couldn't breath, he couldn't feel his heart beat once, but he felt alive. The ground was the normal green back in the sunflower field, but the sunflowers here were dead and wilting. Their yellow petals were now a gross blackish yellow and leaves on their stems were a swampish color.

Sabre spun in a circle, looking at the land around him. He couldn't see his friends, but he could feel their presence. Along with a stranger.

'Sabre' Something in his head said. The voice was shaky and croaky. It echoed in Sabre's head, then a slurping sound came. Sabre knew his heart didn't beat, but he was surely scared. Unsure of what to do, he called out back to the voice.
