Assassin Prince

Chapter 4

Eleanor stayed in the garden picking then dead flowers to get rid of them. Zoran walk up behind her, "What are you doing?" She looked at him and smiled, "I'm picking the dead flowers."

He plucked a pink rose, "Pink rose; means love, gratitude, and appreciation. Perfect for you." He put the rose on top of her helix. She smiled at him, "I have a gift for you too." She took out an Amethyst necklace. "My father loved me and he gave this to me when he died. I want you to have it." Zoran looked at her, "Eleanor...I can't have this it means so much to yo-"

He saw her eyes and gave in. He bent his head forward and she put the necklace on him. He held it in his hand looking at it while it was still on her neck. "I'm going to go talk to my father." She nodded and he walked away. She continued to pick the dead flowers. She was to busy she didn't see that Prince Alexander's horse that was running at her. Prince Alexander picked her up by the waist and she screamed.

He put his hand on her mouth to stop her from screaming. One of the guards noticed but was killed by Prince Alexander's guards. Zoran heard the commotion and ran outside, "Eleanor!" Piper had gotten out of the stables and ran towards Zoran.

Eleanor saw Zoran get on his horse and smiled. Prince Alexander saw her smile and looked back eyes widened. They ran trough the forest onto a mountain path with a raging river below.

One of Alexander's guards fired an arrow the hit Piper on the leg and Piper stumbled forward falling onto her knees. Zoran fell off Piper and rolled down the mountain falling into the river unconscious. Eleanor saw what happened, "Zoran!" 

Prince Alexander rode back to his castle, "Put her in a room and make sure she stays there!" The guards grabbed Eleanor and put her inside the room. There was a cage in there with a cloth on it. She removed the cloth, "Heru?" It was her read tailed hawk. She opened the cage and let him out; he sat on her shoulder. She found paper and a feather pen, "Go to the Stilan Kingdom and give this to the king. Please don't get caught." She opened the window and Heru flew away.

Heru didn't get caught and managed to get the letter to the king;

'Your Majesty,

It's Princess Eleanor, I have been captured by Prince Alexander and I'm in his Castle locked in a room. I'm happy if Heru got this to you. Prince Zoran had fallen into the raging river near the mountains. I want you to find him first he is in more danger than I am.

Eleanor'

He spoke to his guards, "Go to the Dreaded Shallows and find Zoran, NOW!" His captain of the guards ordered the other guards out to find Zoran. They found his horse wounded and some of the guards stayed behind to patch him up while others continued to go down the mountain to find Zoran.

Zoran moved his hand and felt went sand, he slowly opened his eyes to see he was laying on his chest with his waist down in water. He remembered happened what and got up looking around  and putting his hand on the necklace Eleanor gave him, "Eleanor!" There was a water fall behind him and it was falling into a pond. In front of him was a forest. His head hurt he went and touched the left side of his forehead and felt something thick, he looked down at his hand and saw there was blood on it.

He turned around to see one of his fathers guards on top of cliff near the water fall, "I'm over here!" The guard turned to look at him and turned back around. A few minutes later he came back with more guards. They helped Zoran up the cliff and took him back to his father.

He ran to his father, "We have to get Eleanor back!"

His father glared at him, "There is nothing we can do for her. We don't have a big army."

"Perhaps my army and I can be in assistance." Zoran turned around to see Princess Elizabeth. She look to Zoran then his father, "Our armies combined makes us stronger than his army."

The King looked at her, "What do your parents have to say?"

She smiled, "I'm old enough to make my own decisions. To the Rozuston Kingdom!"
