The steady drip hurts my head as images flash like a movie screen
A tear rolls down my face at the images I view
A scream leaves no sound as I fall towards the ground
You catch me tightly, patting my hair gently
Letting all the pain and anger finally escape

I sit quietly and rock, not wanting to spook you again
How has no one told you how amazing you are
That you're always there to help a friend
And how you never seem to mind when I act crazy

Thank you dear friend
For never questioning my fear
And thank you my friend
For always being there
I never know how to tell you
How much I love you so
Just please hold my hand
So I won't have to let you go
