Unspoken Secrets

Chapter 12

Masaji stormed down the dark corridor and stopped in front of the door to a room. Angrily, he pushed it open and saw Nina irritated looking over at him.

"You!" He marched over and got up in Nina's face. "You helped Sasori Orange escape, didn't you?"

"No," he heard her calmly said. "I was here all day. How can I escape with your dummy there keeping an eye on me," She referring to one of Masaji's soldiers that had secretly been following her and keeping an eye on her. "Ask them if they have seen me leave this room"

Masaji snaps his fingers and his soldier appears right beside him. He turned and grabbed the soldier by the neck. "Did she leave the room?!" he demanded an answer.

The soldier rapidly shook his head and spoke in its own language before Masaji released his grip on it.

"Dismiss!" Masaji loudly said and his soldier immediately left the room.

Knowing full well that Masaji didn't get any proof on her, Nina smirked and folded her arms.

"So am I done with this interrogation?"

"You may have Takotsu and Ryuzo fool but I'm not!" He pointed his finger at her. "I know you are secretly a traitor and helping that girl. Soon enough your cover will be blown!"

Not affected by Masaji's remarks, Nina coldly retorted "Until that ever happens, I suggest you get out of my room and do what you are supposed to do or I will report you to our boss!"

Masaji growled and was about to say something when another soldier walked into the room, interrupting him.

He turns his attention to the soldier and asks. "What is it now?" he growled.

The soldier walked over to Masaji and whispered in his ear.

"What!"

Nina notices Masaji is a bit startled by what the soldier said and wonders what is being said.

"Seriously, when did this happen?" Masaji angrily asked.

Again, the soldier whispers the answer to Masaji's ear which annoys Nina.

After the soldier finishes, Masaji signals it to leave and turns his attention back on Nina.

"This isn't over, Nina," He coldly told her before turning away and storming out of Nina's room.

Nina closed the door behind her and walked over to her bed, sitting down on it. "Mission accomplished," She smiled and snapped her fingers. Her appearance changes to an unfamiliar woman with short hair dressed in a gray cloak. She muttered a spell and pointed her finger at the wall of the room.

A small hologram screen appears in front of her showing Kyurangers with Nina on the Orion.

The camera zooms into the screen and the scene changes to where Lucky, Kotaro, Champ, and Sho Ronpo are being confronted by Nina.

"You're not working for Takotsu and Ryuzo, are you?" Lucky asked.

"I'm not working for them," was Nina's response but Lucky still doesn't trust her yet.

He felt someone beside him and looked to see Kotaro standing next to him.

"How can we believe you when you could be Masaji in disguise?" Kotaro says

"Because I was the one that saved Sasori Orange and Chameleon Green," Nina told them and tossed an object at Lucky who caught it and stared at it confused. Kotaro and Champ walked closer to Lucky to see what the object was.
