Chapter 13

Author Notes: I apologize for the hiatus and for not uploading a new chapter for this story and other stories that are incomplete on my Wattpad. I have been very busy lately with things that are happening in my life that kept me away from updating my stories here on Wattpad. I will try to upload chapters for this story and other stories often when I'm able to. Anyway, here is the next chapter. I hope you enjoy it and leave comments.

"What do you mean that won't be a problem for you?" Kotaro asked in confusion as he watched Nina walk toward the steps that led to the exit door of the bridge.

With her backing facing toward the others, Nina glances back at the young boy and replies. "It means that I'm not working alone. I would gladly give everyone an explanation, but right now I need to go see Asa before your friends kill her". She left up the steps and exited out of the bridge.

"Wait!" Lucky ran after her with Kotaro following behind him.

They ran passed by Spada who had just walked into the bridge with a confused look. "What's going on?" He asked, noticing that Lucky and Kotaro chased after a woman, whom he didn't recognize because he only saw her back from afar.

"They went after Nina to see Asa who is held in captivity," Sho Ronpo told him.

"Asa? Nina?" Spada realized who Lucky and Kotaro had gone after. but was more confused as to why she was on the Orion with them and why Nina's name was also mentioned. "Aren't they working for Ryuzo and Takotsu?" He asked.

Sho Ronpo walked up to Spada. "It turns out, Nina wasn't working for Ryuzo and Takotsu. She is secretly undercover and is the one that helped Koume escape in the first place". He explained. "As for Asa, we're not sure if she's good or bad. She's being interrogated by Tsurugi, Naga, and Balance right now as we are speaking".

Spada nodded

"How is Koume and Stinger?" Champ asked, changing the subject. He was curious about his partner and Koume's conditions.

"Stinger is recovering and needs to rest from his injuries. As for Koume, she's calm and sleeping now". Spada replied.

"What about Koume's injuries? Is it healing?" Sho Ronpo questioned even though he knew the answer but still wondered if something might change for Koume.

"That's what I'm here to talk to you about," Spada simply said.

Sho Ronpo and Champ stared at Spada wondering what he wanted to tell them about.

"Are you saying that I might have been possessed by Koume's brother's spirit?" Stinger asked Hammy when he realized what she was trying to tell him.

"It's possible since you were too injured to fight," Hammy told him.

Stinger grabs Koume's necklace out of his pocket and stares at it. "Could it be that the light that blinded him when he tried to retrieve the necklace was the spirit of Koume's brother?" He wondered to himself.

"There is something else you should know too," Hammy said all of sudden and Stinger looked at her.

"What is it?" He asked, curious to know.

"Asa is being held captive here," Hammy answered him.

"What?" Stinger was surprised to know that Asa was held captive but was confused at how Asa was captured. Did he help capture her? If so, how? How come he doesn't remember? Then something occurs to him
