Martha: (They are still under the umbrella as rain is continuing to fall) Mickey, where's your truck?

The Doctor: Why do you want to go to his truck? We can easily just shelter under the TARDIS!

Martha: Yes, we know, it has plenty of room, but you have to consider some other stuff too.

The Doctor: Yeah, like what?

Martha: We just don't want you to feel like we're travelling again. Take this as though we're two people paying their best pal a visit.

The Doctor: Oh, I understand...(he feels quite disappointed)

Mickey: (after a brief silence) So, my truck is just behind the TARDIS...

Martha: You ok with this, Doctor?

The Doctor: Yeah, I'm fine. We need to get in there quick, because some people may have already been converted by the rain.

Martha: (they make it around the TARDIS to the big yellow truck, which Mickey unlocks with his keys. Luckily, there's no people nearby, so they just climb in and close the doors. Though, not before the umbrella gets blown away by a suddenly huge gust of wind...) The umbrella! No! (She cries)

Mickey: It's ok, babe. We wouldn't be needing it again anyway. Right, Doctor?

The Doctor: Exactly, this rain will only last for 24 hours. People who are under shelter during that time will be immune, but we will always still need to be aware of the Flood. They can still convert us on foot...

Martha: Boys, you may wanna look outside...

Mickey: (They do so. There's a group of about 3 women coming towards them...) Relax, they're only girls.

The Doctor: Ever noticed that they are not under any shelter?

Martha: Yes?

The Doctor: They must have already been infected. The process can take from just a second up to at least 5 hours later...

Martha: They look so peaceful though, can't we just let them in while they are yet to turn?

The Doctor: Not on my watch! They have Flood water dripping all over them, and we don't want any of that on us.

Martha: Fair enough. Start driving, Mickey. (He's about to, but the women climb over the car like zombies. They catch sight of Mickey and the Doctor and hiss. However, some of them notice Martha in the back seat, and panic while trying to force the door open.) Mickey!

Mickey: I don't want to hurt them...

The Doctor: Mickey, the worst that can happen to them is falling into a muddy puddle. Now, just step on it!

Mickey: I'm gonna regret this...(he starts up the truck, which causes the women to fall off and land in a muddy puddle, as he speeds out of the farm)

The Doctor: (as the truck enters the city centre) Where do you two live now?

Mickey: Virginia Close, Bristol.

Martha: I still don't understand what made you think of coming here...

Mickey: It reminds me of you, sweetheart. (They stop at a traffic light, and Mickey and Martha use this as an excuse to kiss)

The Doctor: (they're still kissing as the lights turn back to green) Time to go, Mickey! (They can't hear him over the smooching sounds...) Oh, for goodness sake. (He unlocks Mickey's seatbelt, then carries him into the back seat with Martha, as he gets into the driver's seat) Now, let's continue. (He drives until he approaches another traffic light system, so he lowers his window to talk to a woman just outside) Excuse me, but do you know the way to Virginia Close, Bristol?

Diana: Second turning on your left, then second left turning again, and take turn to your left again for a third time, loser.

The Doctor: Thanks. (Diana is about to throw a tomato at him, but he brings the window back up so it only hits the window. The lights are green, so he carries on driving until he reaches the right street) Finally!

Police Officer Steve: (A police car comes to pull the Doctor over, and the window rolls down) I'm sorry, sir, but can we see your license?

The Doctor: I don't have one.

Police Officer Yaz: Then, I'm afraid we're going to ha-

The Doctor: (interrupts) I don't have one because I have this! (He shows off his psychic paper)

Yaz: (her and Steve read it) You inspect and look after other people's cars?

The Doctor: That's right!

Steve: Who's truck is this, if I may ask?

The Doctor: Mickey Smith, also known as Mickey the Idiot.

Steve: Thought so, you're in the wrong spot. This house is 6 Virginia Close, but he lives in 9 Virginia Close.

The Doctor: Thanks, cops. Also, I strongly urge you both to stay under shelter for the next 24 hours.

Steve: Ok, Rockstar Grandad. You live in your own world where there's such thing as killer rain.

The Doctor: It's not killer rain, because it's something much worse than that.

Yaz: You have a nice point, Doctor.

Steve: Are you actually serious?

The Doctor: Look around you, does everything seem normal to you?

Steve: Hardly anyone is walking about this street, but that's pretty nor-

Yaz: I wondered why this street was a bit out of the way, hardly anyone knows about it outside Bristol.

The Doctor: You don't sound like you're from Bristol.

Yaz: Me? Oh, I'm from Sheffield. Things didn't go too well with Hallamshire. I was hoping after traveling with my girlfriend through space, that I would be worthy of getting more from them, but my knowledge of other worlds leaked through and caused me to be a bit too good for them that they no longer considered me.

The Doctor: Girlfriend through time? (He thinks to himself, until it clicks...) Missy...

Yaz: What was that, sir?

The Doctor: I was just saying that I'll see you later...(both vehicles drive off to their respective destinations) Here we are, 9 Virginia Close, but how am I meant to get us out this truck without walking in the rain? (He drives around to the back of the house to find an open garage connected to the house) Bingo! (He drives into the garage, gets out, and then closes the door behind him. Looking over Mickey and Martha) Oh, they're fast asleep. Not to worry, you two, because I'm going to give you a nice surprise for when you wake up. (He gladly but carefully picks them up and walks into the house with them in his arms) You'll see...(Unbeknownst to them, a voice is faintly heard from under the truck laughing)
