All of this was not a coincidence
It didn't occur by fate
I wonder if they have the reminiscencesOf the day that we first met
It was in dusk
Horizon hid the Sun in its bosom
I sat there wonderingUntil I saw a pretty moon flower blossom
I walked up, stood beside the river
Where the moon flower bloomed
And I found someone
fairer than the moon
Their beauty left me spellboundBut the thing, that made me frown
Was how they appeared so gloomI placed my hand on their back,
Scared to make them flinch
they didn't flinch once
Only looked at me-
with bloodshot eyes and smiledNot wanting their emotions to evince
"Who are you?" I asked the fairest
They didn't respond, just smiled
A smile looked so sweet-
Almost disguising all their criesThat could fool anyone without having been tried.
I spoke, not being able to take their misery
"
You don't have to pretend
And present me a smile so fake
You can trust me
And show me all your pain."Their smile now lost
Lone tear fell-
from their moon like cheeks
The mouth that was previously frostNow spoke the truth untold
"You are not a moon child
You don't have to hide and fear-
and deform yourself for the day child
Who would not accept a queer"~Amorura
The moonchild symbolises a genderqueer person. The daychild are the cisgender stereotypes who would constantly bully the moonchild for being different. They are referred as 'daychild ' because they have privilege to be the real them.Unlike the moonchild, they don't have to hide their identity in the dark night.
Inspired by the song
'Moonchild' by RM (Kim Namjoon of BTS)[I hope the term 'daychild' is not cringy, if you have any better term please suggest]
