Toru's Just Mean

Kiyomori leans over from his seat, sneaking a quick peek at my test before resetting himself at his original position. The obviousness to his action is so large in scale that Uchimiya's eyes lock on to him. The intensity of his gaze is almost abnormal. Lasers could shoot out from his eyes easily if he willed it.

"Kiyomori-san," the teacher speaks out. "I couldn't help but notice that you decided to look at your neighbor's test. I demand an explanation from you."

I ignore the ridiculous banter that Kiyomori ensues upon himself. I can see from the corner of my eyes that his mouth opens to retaliate. Nothing leaves from his gaping hole though.

I focus on him a little more, turning my whole head towards him and that's when it happened. Our eyes lock in a strange way. His face is full of dependency and mine with casualness. What I get from his face is that he wants me to give an excuse for him.

Ah. He really was cheating. So if I can give Uchimiya a good excuse for him... I place my fist on top of my palm. He won't be in trouble! Well, I know what to do.

"Uchimiya-sensei..." His laser eyes lock on to its new target. "Kiyomori-kun was cheating. He's a dirty, sleazy cheater!"

"T-Toru-kun!" Kiyomori tries his best to stifle a laugh. "We're gonna have to reset ourselves if you don't do this right!"

However, Uchimiya bursts out laughing from my ad-lib. He seemingly couldn't contain a legitamate, straight face. "T-Toru-san is just... Haaaahahahaha!"

"Kiyomori-kun is a lousy, sniveling idiot who doesn't do any of his work!" I slam my fists on the poor desk I'm now standing behind. "Maybe this wouldn't have happened if this piece of shi-"

"Cut! Cuuuuuuut!" Megu walks on towards me with her face as red as a beet. "That... You little snitch!"

It isn't long before all three of the attending members begin laughing at me. I narrow my eyes, wondering what the source of entertainment is.

"I don't see what's so funny," I remark with an ice cold gaze. "I say that that should be a part of the script."

"Toru-kun is mean on and off set," Megu says with her mouth wide open in surprise. "Then again, what do you expect from someone that acts like the school bully?"
