So when I woke up the next morning Cameron wasn't there!
I wondered down stairs finding Cameron in the kitchen and my hung over MOTHER MY MOTHER slumped on the sofa.
He seemed to be making hangover cures for her she was getting better by the minute. I sat down at the bar.
" So you've met my mother a bit earlier than I would have liked " I stuttered.
" well she seems to like me when she's hung over so she can't be that bad when she's not. "
" No no she can get bad , but I just go with it she doesn't really care. "
"Oh" he murmured.
" Yes it's not that bad it can just get a bit out of hand and I basically live by myself so you know no rules I can eat whatever I want big house lots of money pretty happy I guess" I smirked and he gave me a sympathetic smile.
" WHY DONT YALL ALREDY KISS stupid tenagwes" my mom obnoxious yelled and then mumbled drunkly under her breath.
" MOM!" I screeched as her also drunk friend came and picked up my passed out mother.
"So what shall we do today I was thinking about skipping school so then we have a 4 day weekend coz school had been called off on Monday."
"Yea sure " I smiled as he handed me a plate of pancakes covered in ice cream and chocolate syrup.
"So I was thinking that I could take you on a road trip to the beach and then we could get ice cream?" he sounded so nervous it was adorable. I leant over the table and lightly kissed him.
"That's sounds wonderful" I smiled as we tucked into our pancakes.
I packed a small bag with 2 bikinis, track pants,
shorts, 2 t shirts, flip flops, sunnies and my pillow. I packed so much because he said it would be a 1-2 day trip.
We got into his truck and started driving. with a few pit stops we arrived at the beach around 4:00. We went for ice cream after we went swimming. At 8:00 we went for fish and chips.
" Don't you think we are a bit under dressed "
" Nah all girls walk around in bikinis here guys usually are shirtless we will fit in don't you worry" he smirked kissing me on the cheek and taking my had as we walked inside.
We sat down in a booth with leathered seats. As a waitress came around and asked for out orders. I ordered a garden salad with grilled chicken while he ordered a massive burger and chips. I know this is bad but I always felt good eating around him because I feel like a way so much but he says like twice as much as me, I know that's really bad but I just feel like I can eat without being judged around him.
"So what do you think?" he asked as I sipped on my coke.
"It's great, just like the movies" I smiled, I actually felt really uncomfortable around all these half naked people. But, he was happy so I just let him have his moment.
" I have another special date for you to participate in" he smirked
"Well I bet it's not as good as our last, I don't think it can get that much better than that"
" Well I think I can definitely top that" he smirked
" Ok I'll take your word" I sipped my coke and looked around.
"Do you wanna get outa here?" He asked
"Oh yes please GET. ME. OUTA. HERE" I said pulling out my posh queen bee voice.
"Ok let's totes go go" he said
as we broke out in laughter and we walked to the car.
He grabbed me from behind and covered my eyes. I heard rustling and then an engine starting up. He picked me up and threw me, as I landed I felt soft squitchyness underneath me. I burst into laughter as I felt myself bounce as he jumped onto wherever I had landed. I giggled gasping for breath.
I felt an engine roar beneath me we started moving as he uncovered my eyes. I looked up. beautiful blue night sky littered with shining stars, they couldn't be real. I looked around not having a clue of where we were. I soon realised that we were in his truck. In the back part that was always covered with a tarp. This was so cute. Cameron pulled a blanket over us as pillows surrounded us as we lie on a mattress.
I put my head on his chest listening to his every heartbeat. growing in pace each time that we went over a bump.
I looked up into his eyes. I had never noticed how blue they were, deep with emotion gazing into the distance. He looked down as I turned away looking into the sky, nestling my fave into his chest. I slowly fell asleep to the pound of his heart beat against my cheek.
" I love you " I whispered as I fell asleep.
