"Get upppppp," I heard someone sing-song in my ear. "Get uppppp!"
"Go. Away." I clamped my pillow down over my ears to try and block out Percy's annoying singing. I gave mental thanks that I didn't have to share a cabin with him every day.
"You have to get up! Cabin inspection..."
"Ugh!" I kicked out blindly in his direction. The idiot decided to tickle me. Immediately, I went into survival mode and flopped onto the cabin floor.
"There, you're up," Percy grinned down at me. I glared groggily up at him.
"Tickle me again and it'll be the last thing you ever do."
"I'm so scared. Inspection in twenty by the way. You might want to do something about all...this." He toed a bright green brassiere with his shoe.
"Hey!" I yelled snatching it up.
"I'm going to laugh when you get a zero."
"I remember when you used to be cool. What happened?"
"I had kids," he told me seriously. "Get up, get dressed, and hide all this crap somewhere."
I nodded, "Yeah, sure."
"I'm serious," he stared down on me still lounging on the floor. I nodded at him forcefully. He backed out of the cabin pointing at his eyes then at me again to signify that he was watching. I rolled my eyes and flung myself back into bed.
"UP!" Percy yelled again.
"OUT!" I screamed back chucking my pillow at the door.
"Oh, by the way, Leah and Amber are inspecting..." he called. My eyes flew open in horror. Immediately I leapt out of bed and ran to the door of the cabin.
"PERCY!" I yelled at his retreating back, "PLEASE! Don't leave me with them!"
He waved back cheerfully, "Have fun with your friends!"
"Gods help me!" I desperately looked around. Honestly, Percy must have been exaggerating. Besides my bra's scattered everywhere, which was probably Finn's doing, nothing seemed out of order. I decided that I hated Percy for the day and slid back to the floor. I stared around my cabin gloomily. And yes, it was my cabin. Percy and I were the only Greek children of Poseidon; since he lived part time at the Roman Camp with Annabeth, Tessa, and Finn, it was mine. And I had claimed it. My weapons, clothes, shoes, books, pieces of paper, and other various items were all over the place. I was allowed since I lived there all year. The walls were covered with posters and my bunk wall was decorated with countless pictures. Tyson didn't really like my decorating style. Guiltily, I thought of what Tyson would say if he could see my Doctor Who posters covering the map of Mt. Olympus... I was busy shoving some of my bras under a bunk mattress when a horribly familiar voice said, "Uh...knock, knock?"
Gritting my teeth I turned around to face Leah Wes and Amber Maitres. Oh, if you don't know,I hate them. "Morning." I got out through my teeth.
"Yeah, it's been so boring." Amber said rolling her eyes. She was one of those girls who look disgusted at everything. "Honestly, I think they should only give these jobs to people who don't have social lives."
"Totally, Amber," Leah giggled. "Like Eric? Or O.M.G! Owen!" Leah laughed obnoxiously while Amber gave a snort that sounded like she got punched in the stomach. I tried to keep myself from screaming. "So," Leah said plopping down onto my bunk, "What's up?" See, Leah had been under the impression that we were all best friends for the past hmm...six years.
