Chapter Three (Accused)

Alex's P.O.V

I wake up to see Dr.Herald he looked very intrested. He looked at my stroking his chin ''Alex your awake, how do you feel?'' he asked. I felt different for sure but i didnt know what it was. ''Yeah but who is Connor?, he seemed Important'' I asked Dr.Herald sitting up ''He was a test subject's Ancestor but because of the subjects failures we decided to try younger people'' said Dr.Herald. ''Well where's David, Matt and Ben?'' I said standing up. ''They're sleeping Alex can i ask you a question?'' Said Dr.Herald checking that David Matt or Ben were watching. I wondered what question he was about to ask. ''Say you become what you never imagined a monster, what would you think of yourself'' he asked looking into my eyes. ''I would just...just end it i never want to become a monster'' i said with honesty. He looked at me and nodded. ''Well Alex you better get sleep'' he said to me. i started to walk to my room. The door opened, I then layed down on my bed and closed my eyes. I then opened my eyes it was 3:14 A.M my vison was weird i then saw writing on the wall in Red it said: Leave they want your memory's leave fast. I then blinked my vision was normal I then stayed awake thinking what it meant. My alarm rang i got up undressed then put on some new clothing. I walked out i knew what to do so i sat in the animus and waited for Herald to start putting me into Duncans life. He then came out and looked into me ''Ready?'' he asked. ''Yeah'' i said. This time the jolt was fast that i didnt mind. I then drifted into Duncans life.

Duncan's P.O.V

We arrived at New York i then asked a newspaper seller to tell me the directions to Fort Henry "sir by any chance do you know where a place called Fort Henry is?" He looked at me as if I had done a crime "why yes I do". "Well could you give me some directions" I asked. I check my surroundings I then see Yobani talking to some pretty women. I then decided not to get distracted "It's well just south of here" said the seller. "Well thank you" I said kindly walking away signaling Yobani it was time to go. "Well Duncan aren't the women here stunning" he said amazed "yes they are but the women in Boston are a lot more...interesting " I told Yobani as I was walking I saw fort Henry in the distance. I saw a ledge I ran towards the wall with all my strength I jumped and grabbed the ledge. I reached my hand out to Yobani he jumped and grabbed my hand I pulled him up "Thanks" said Yobani we soon reached the outer wall of Fort Henry. I looked around and saw a hay stack I jumped in I landed safely. Yobani did the same I hid behind a barrel I saw a redcoat I sneaked up to him. I cover his mouth with the palm of my hand and kicked the back of his leg he stumbled to his knees I pulled out my Hidden blade and stabbed his throat. "Nice work Duncan" said Yobani coming out of hiding "no time for chatter" I said hiding behind a fence Yobani recklessly ran towards three guards he pulled out his Rapier and Flintlock he shot a guard well there goes our cover he then grabbed a others head and smashed his skull with the end of his flintlock and turned kicked the redcoats gut and stabbed his head. "Well that looked like all of them" I said I looked at Yobani he stood still as a statue "Yobani what's wrong" he pointed his finger there stood a huge guy in metal armor with a big war axe. "This isn't going to be easy" said Yobani getting ready for a fight as Tin head was walking towards us. I then saw the man we were looking for next to metal head Javier Bramb next to him stood lots of redcoats. "Duncan and Yobani how is Conner still weeping that Achilles is gone" Bramb laughed and mocked Connor. "Well you ready for a quick and painful death" I said with rage in my eyes "your out numbered 14 to 1" said Bramb. I looked around what did he mean I had Yobani "Yobani---" my leg tingled in pain I fell to the floor I looked at my leg I was shot my leg gushed with blood. "HAHAHA" laughed Yobani with his flintlock pointed to my head.
