A Series Of Unfortunate Events

"Truth or Dare?" I asked at our barbeque. After Connor had near burnt down the grill, Jess and I stepped in. Superwomen? I think yes. The answer was a few muttered yes', a nod, and an excited Louis shouting YES at the top of his lungs. And if you know how loud Louis can scream, that is a LOT of noise.

"Connor." I zoomed in on Connor. My first victim of the night. Mwahahaha, I cackled evilly inside my head. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth." He announced. Wow, someone's feeling manly.

"Have you ever cheated on someone?" I asked, kind of downcast. I had the perfect dare mapped out, and then he had to go and ruin it. That idiotic little princess.

Connor glanced at me. "Sort of. A girl shoved her tongue down my throat, and I couldn't push her off fast enough. AND REMEMBER CHILDREN, IF SOMEONE IS EVER MOUTH RAPING YOU, DON'T SCREAM FOR HELP. The tongue just goes down and down, and just.... down," He shuddered at the last word, obviously remember a tongue probing his neck. Laughing silently to myself, I gestured for him to ask someone next.

"Harry, truth or dare."

"Dare." Good move Harry, don't be a wuss. I praised him inside my head.

Those crazy fans were always going on about how perfect his lips were. They were right. His lips were perfect, red, and moved beautifully. He looked like a god with his hair pushed back into his faded old green beanie. Harry's acne was actually very attractive. Harry Styles makes acne attractive. I never even thought acne COULD be attractive.

I was so lost in these thoughts of him and his beautifulness, I didn't see him do his dare. Infact, I probably could have gone on dreaming, but a certain husky voice snapped me out of those thoughts.

"Bellaboo, truth or dare?" Harry asked, excited for some unknown reason. I decided to play it safe, or so I thought.

"Truth." I said that loudly, confident that nothing could go wrong. Ever heard of jinxing something? Ya, big mistake.

"Will you go out with me?" Harry asked, biting his lip. Damn, he looked sexy like that. I tore my eyes off him to stare at Jess, who was shaking her head discreetly at me. A small tear escaped my eye. I answered when it had trailed down half my nose.

"I'm s-sorry, H-Harry, but I-I... I can't," I finished in a broken whisper before running away.

~~~
I had been in my room for about three days, only coming out to use the bathroom. Eventually, Jess had had enough.
"Listen, loser. Get your fatass up, out of bed. Take a shower, you smell. Then put on some sexy dress and shit and come downstais. We're clubbing, you have no choice. Three hours, and then I'm dragging you out whether you're in a dress or in the shower." And with that motivational speech, Jess left, slamming the door behind her.
Exactly three hours later, the door was thrown open and a hand grabbed me and yanked me. Jeses threw a pair of heels at me, hitting me in the upper thigh. Luckily, it was covered by the dress because I'm pretty sure it was already bruised. Glancing at them offhandedly, I slipped them on and hopped downstairs.
The car ride was really awkward. I could feel Harry staring at me, and it wasn't a happy stare. The second we stopped, I burst out and ran to the bar. The floor was pulsating to the beat of the music, and lights were flashing everywhere. Turning around slightly, I could see Harry grinding on some slutty blond. I tried to escape the tear from my eye. How, you ask? By ordering a shot and tilting it back. And then again. And again.
~~~

I woke up in my bed in Harry's house to the sound of screams and grunts. Harry.... grunts. Groaning and with a killer headache, I rolled over to see that it was three in the morning. My head was a bit thick, and I wasn't thinking straigt until it hit me. Harry was banging some girl. Tears started pouring down my face, and I just silently cried myself back to sleep.

Waking up with a pounding hang over, I groaned. I wandered downstairs, my hand on my forehead. Ugh. What happened last night? I don't think anything major happened, just that I was piss drunk. Jess wordlessly tossed me an Advil, and with some shock of luck I caught it. Maybe I should get drunk more often... haha.... no. That's not happening.

I saw the back of my "WHAT THE HELL" tshirt from Avril Lavigne's music video. It wasn't her's, but it was a copy and they looked the same- Anyway, I blinked. Was I seeing double? Ugh. I am never getting drunk again. I loked closer. Her hair was a platinum, fake blond. I uncosiously touched my hair.

The girl turned around, a prominent smirk on her face when she saw me. Like she thought she was better than me. I turned to Harry, trying to hide my selfconsciousness.

"Is that my shirt?" I asked, praying he didn't notice my voice shaking. Harry looked at me strangely. Oh right, I looked like shit right now. Jess appeared on my left and Connor on my right. I smiled slightly inside. It had always been like that. We were inseperable, and when one of us were picked on of us, we flanked each other. Backed each other up, supported each other.

The girl- correction, slut. She was wearing a white lacy bra. Lacy, white, SEE THROUGH bra under my shirt, which had been pulled down. There was make up on her face too. The slut glared at me. I winked back before turning to Harry. I looked at him pointedly.

"Yes it is. I didn't think you would care if I gave it to my beautiful girlfriend Vanessa," he said with a self satisfied smirk. I turned around to make eye contact with Jess. Harry and VANESSA were behind me, and the lads, Connor, and Jess were infront of me, all watching me with worried eyes.

(Hit play now)

I didn't care if THEY saw the tears falling freely and silently down my face, but I couldn't let Harry or Vanessa see. I nodded once to Jess before walking out the back door. I tried to walk normally out without breaking into a run to get away, and I succeeded until out of eyesight from the house. Instead of running though, I took my time. I didn't want to run away from my problems, no matter how down i was feeling. Slowing down, I looked around the beautiful forest for a minute. I stopped, just taking a minute to breath in the air.

I walked over to a big oak that seemed to go on forever, just reaching up to the skies. I sat down, my back against the rough bark. Leaning my head back, I breathed in deeply, feeling utterly alone and quite enjoying it. I left my hair make a curtain, keeping me in this beautiful little block of sunlight. The blond wall kept me inside my little bubble, outside the harsh reality of the real world.

Slumping down, I focused on my breathing. I closed my eyes, breathing in the cool, clean tasting air. Tears were rolling down my face, but I had to stay strong. Harry could date anyone he wanted, and I wasn't going to stop him.

I got up slowly and walked away from the tree, leaving my hard feelings behind. I just dumped them there, not once looking back.

I found a patch of tall grass and laid down in it, just feeling myself relax. My eyes were shut, and I suppose I fell asleep.

Sleep is an escape from everything, right? A happy little corner in your mind where everything is sunshine and rainbows and unicorns. Right? Wrong. My mind was racing with images of everything terrible. I was twitching and shaking, writhing around on the ground. I was vaguely aware of footsteps running towards me, crying my name out in worry.

I tried to wake up, to let them know I was okay, but I couldn't. I struggled against the tight bonds of this so called 'sleep.' I couldn't control the twitching. I couldn't stop the shaking, pause the screaming, or make the twitching go away. I threw all of myself into the last fight with myself. I screamed once, louder than all the rest before plumetting down a black hole, a never ending sea of darkness. Everything went black.
