I sat outside, staring at the streets filled with cars. I couldn care less about most of them, I just needed to say one. Whether it was Harry's, Zayn's, mine, or- Louis'! Jess rolled up.

"Toot toot!" She singsonged. "Get in loser, we're going shopping." I looked at her strangely just before I got in. "Just kidding, we're not going anywhere till I hear that song." Her expression turned dead serious, and I closed my eyes and started to sing. I didn't care who was listening, I didn't care IF anyone was listening, and I didn't even care who's car it was jess had forcibly taken/stolen.

(Hit Play)

"Even when I'm gone and trees are crying, Even when I'm gone and the angels are singing. Even when I'm gone I'll always be there, even when I'm gone know how I much care.

"No how hard I'm trying to get back, how hard I'm trying, how hard I'm crying in the air. Ohh, know how much, know how much I care, I care. I'll do anything to come back:

"Even when you won't see me, I'll be there. I'll be there. even in the trees, I'll be a swinging. in the dark I'll be your light. I'll be with you, I wont leave your side. Ohh ohh, I'll be there, I'll be there, for you.

"Even when you can't see or hear me, but if you hear a singing know it's me. Even if you can't see me, I'll be there, I'll be be there, I'll never leave your side. I'll be there, I'll be there, never leave your side."

My voice was raspy and much too high, cracking and swinging all over the notes. Jess was coughing quietly, head bent down, looking at the pedals on Niall's car.

"I love you." She murmured quietly. "Thanks for coming back."

"I can't say anytime, because I doubt if I ever die again I'll be able to come back. I did learn something that I want you to take from this. Take advantage of every oppurtunity, of every second, of every day, night, whenever. You could die at this very moment, and there are so many thing you wanted to do, see, and accomplish. Go live your life, because hell, I know I will." Jess looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"You're going to die one day. It could be tomorrow. Right? So, what you're saying is I need to-" I cut her off, enjoying talking again. Because when you're dead, it's hard to talk.

"What I'm saying is you need to live every moment, every day, like it's your last. Stop caring what people think. Stop taking pills to seem normal. Jess, you're amazing the way you are. Stop trying to change to fit in. Let yourself live. But right now, I need you to let yourself drive. I want to see them all! LEGGO!" And with that, we sped off to my house. And to Harry's house.

Little did I know, Vanessa had a suprise up her sleeve. Little did I know, Vanessa had a secret. Little did I know, that secret could determine how I lived my life for the next few decades, possibly up until the very end.
