My Sunlight [Male Reader X Gwen Stacy]

Chapter 2: The New Girl

Y/N's pov:

You were sat down in science and started chatting to your mates. Everyone said their stories about their summer holidays. You were paused by the teacher asking for silence in the room.

"I hope you all had an amazing and wonderful summer students" Mr Nye said " As small selection of you might know, we have a new student."

A cute short haired blond walked into the room. You couldn't get your eyes off her you liked everything about her.

"This is Miss Gwen Stacy please welcome her" The science teacher blabbed on a bit about the work and started the register. When he came to your name you were completely zoned out and only focused on Gwen. Your friends noticed this and fake coughed getting your attention. After the register you started the work but after every couple minutes you zoned back out and your attention went back onto Gwen. Your friends tried to keep your attention off Gwen by talking about your favourite topic. It worked but only for a little while.

You had only done the title and date, your so off track with your science. One of your favourite lesson's and you often were the hardest working out of the whole class in the whole room. Even your teacher had noticed this and gave you a verbal warning, it was the first verbal warning you had in years. Everyone was shocked to your name to be jotted onto the white board, it was only house points that your name was written down for in science.

Gwen's pov:

A random boy in science got a verbal warning. Even if I didn't fully understand the school system I knew a verbal warning wasn't a good thing. But when I looked around the classroom I saw shock in everyone's faces. Kate a person that I started talking to explained to me why everyone in the classroom was shocked. I look over to the boy who everyone was now gossiping about. He was a cute H/C haired boy with E/C eyes.

Kate tried to find out why he got the verbal warning but the boys said that they would keep a secret, for now.

Then came second lesson, this lesson was English. Everyone was standing at the back of the classroom waiting for the new seating plan that going to take place for the year.

Y/N's pov:

"And sat at the back right is Gwen Stacy and Y/F/N"

Your eyes opened up at what your English teacher had just said. Your friends giggled and pushed you towards your seat. You blushed slightly and sat down at your seat. Gwen then sat down next to you.

You were quite until you heard a sigh from Gwen. "Bored?" you ask Gwen. She surprised that you started to talk to her. "Yeah" she moves a strand of hair behind her ear. "English is always the boring lesson" you replied.

You and Gwen started to talk to each other and you started to really to get to know each other.

The lesson ended and your friends had already gone outside before you could even look up. That's when you asked Gwen if she wanted for hang out for lunch and break today. "Thanks I don't really have anyone to hang with yet"

"So it is a yes?" You were quick to ask.

Gwen giggled "yeah sure"

You and Gwen hung out for break and lunch and your friends only just noticed half way through Lunchtime. Your friends walked into the school canteen to find you and Gwen talking and having a laugh. Most of your group was about to go over to you and Gwen and ruin your day a bit but luckily your best friend stepped in to stop them. You turn around to see B/F/N stopping the rest of the group. You turn to Gwen and say that you would be right back before getting up and walking to your best friend and the group.

"what's going on?" you ask your best friend.

"well, they were going to come over to you and 'ruin' your day a little bit. But, I came in and saved the day." your best friend explained.

You thanked him and walked back to sit with Gwen when you finished talking to your group.

"sorry about that" you apologised to Gwen as you sat down.

You and Gwen talked some more until the bell went for the end of lunch. You and Gwen both walked towards last lesson, which to your surprise Gwen was also in your class. The last lesson of the day was PE and it was a practical lesson. You walked out of the boys changes rooms into the sports hall and you sat down waiting for someone to walk through the doors as you were usually the first person changed. You tied your shoe laces to then look up and see Gwen walk into the sports hall wearing leggings and a plain white top. Your cheeks went dark rose red. Gwen sat next to you on the bench "hey tomato" she giggled.

You touched your cheek and felt how hot your cheeks were and you then realised why she called you tomato. Seconds after your blush diminished every else walked into the sports hall.

Your teacher asked everyone to get into groups of two for the lesson. You got a tap on your shoulder by Gwen asking if you wanted to be partners for the lesson.

You and Gwen did the following, catching, throwing, fitness and stretches. The lesson ended but what you didn't notice was that she beat you in all of the challenges in PE and that she was in all of your lesson's.

You started walking home from school until you hear a familiar voice shouting your name.

"Y/N?! which way do you live?" she asked curiously as she started walking next to you.

"I live at Wood-Walk Rd"

"Which number?" Gwen asked curiously.

"43" you replied, you usually didn't tell people where you live but you trusted Gwen.

"I live next door to you?!" Gwen jumped up and down.

"W-wait wh" you reached your house.

"See you tomorrow Y/N" Gwen waved as she walked into her house.

You walked into your house and jumped onto your bed. Minutes later it started to rain and you watched the rain form your window as you sang to Falling Down by Lil Peep.

Gwen's pov:

I sat at my window watching the rain as I sang to Falling Down by Lil Peep.
