My Brother's Bandmate

Chapter 1

I had just woke up. It was around noon. The rain was pouring down outside. I grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down on the couch and let my black cat named Misfit climb on my lap, purring while I pet her. I was nervous for today. My brother Christian, or 'CC' as he prefers to be called, has been in a band for the past two years, and he just recently decides he wants me to meet his bandmates so he's driving to my house in Van Nuys. Whenever I talked to him on the phone, he always ended up telling me stories about how him and Ashley, their bassist, had gone out and got drunk and did stupid stuff. Him and Ashley seemed to be the closest. I knew who all of them were. I loved their music. I had never met them face-to-face, though. Today was the big day. CC was supposed to be meeting at my house with the rest of the guys. I hadn't seen CC in a while. He's always busy with making records and touring. My phone rang and started playing 'The One That You Hated' by Adler. It was CC. I picked up the phone quick.

"Heller'?"

"Nicki! How ya' doin', babe? I'm gonna be there in like 15 minutes." He said rather excitedly.

"What?! 15 minutes?! Shit I have to do my hair and makeup!" I was rushing. I never told anybody, but I kinda like Ashley. He's really cute.

"Ha, you don't have to get all dressed up for us, Nick."

"Well, they've never seen me before. I don't want them to walk in and see me after I just woke up lookin' like a crackheaded bum!" I yelled into the phone while I was quickly turning on my straightener and setting my makeup out.

"Haha, Nicki you're a mess. I love you though. I'll let you get ready. Love you Nightmare!" he calls me Nightmare because I go by Nicki Nightmare.

"Love you too, Coma!" And with that, I hung up.

I did my hair and makeup and got dressed all within 10 minutes! I was wearing black denim skinny jeans with a black Misfits tanktop.

I heard a knock on the door so I ran downstairs and answered it. All the guys were standing at the door with suitcases since they were staying with me for a week while they were off work. They ran inside to get out of the rain. They all sat their bags down carefully, except CC who just threw his and ran towards me, picking me up and swinging me around. 

"I missed you so much, Nick!" He kissed my forehead.

"I missed you more, Coma!"

I gave the Andy, Jake, and Jinxx hugs. I walked over to Ash and he hugged me really tight and whispered in my ear, "CC didn't tell me you were so pretty." I smiled at that. We pulled away.

"So how are we doing sleeping arrangments?" Ashley asked.

"Let's all just have a big sleepover here in the living room." I suggested.

"Oh my god. Yes. Let's do it!" CC high fived me. Oh how I love my crazy older brother.

"Okay. So, what do you guys wanna do."

"I don't care, Im just hungry." Jake said.

"I can make you guys some sandwiches if you want?" I asked. Their eyes all lit up. I walked into the kitchen and made 5 sandwiches. When I brought them their food, they scarfed it down.

It was around 11:30. I bought the guys some beer while I was at the store. They wee all drinking and me and Ashley took a few shots. They didn't drink too much because they said they didn't wanna get drunk and do something stupid on their first night here.

We were all pretty tired. Everyone was laying on the couches. I had my head on Ashley's lap and my legs on CC. I looked up at Ashley, 

"Wanna go upstairs and help me get some blankets and pillows?" I just wanted to be alone with him.

I think he knew my plan. He smirked, "Sure, doll."

"Please don't rape my sister while you're up there, Ashley." He tried to sound serious, but ended up laughing. 

"It's not rape if she likes it!" Jake screamed.

We walked upstairs into my room. I grabbed some short black shorts and a black tanktop. I changed infront of Ashley. I didn't care. I wasn't discrete about my body. 

Ashley was in the closet getting blankets, he turned around and smirked when he saw me in my underwear.

"I just met you and you're already taking your clothes off, score!" Ashley laughed.

"Yeah, you know you totally want this." I said jokingly. I took my shirt off so I could put my other one on. He came over and wrapped his arms around me from behind. 

"Definately. But if CC found out that happened, I'm dead." He chuckled.

"You're right about that. But you're sleeping beside me tonight, 'kay?" I smiled.

"Alright." He smirked.

"Let's get back down there, before they think something's up." We walked downstairs and laughed.

The guys were already passed out on the couch. Jake still had a beer in his hand. I took it from him and sat it on the table. I threw blankets over all the guys. I put some blankets on the floor and me and Ashley slept down there since there wasn't any room on the couch. Ashley laid down and I got up to turn the light off. When I turned around Ashley had his arms open waiting for me. I crawled up beside him and we snuggled deep under the covers. He had his arms wrapped tight around me, while I had my head on his chest listening to the steady beat of his heart. There was a loud crash of thunder and I jumped a little.

"Don't worry, hun. I got you." he whispered.

I smiled into his chest, "Goodnight, Ash."

"Night, beautiful."
