Juliet stood in front of her now new home, and she was already liking everything about it. She took in the salty air, of the beach that was just across the street. She'd never thought that the home that once been resided by a huge family she often saw two years ago would e her new home.
In fact, she had seen there been a lot of people who moved out of the city. It was strange how big the number had dropped, and she was curious if there had been some 'crazy' thing that had happened that caused people to leave the peaceful city.
'Peaceful' was what Juliet Michael had thought, but had she cared to read articles, she would know that there had been sudden disappearances, and many believed it was dangerous for their families.
Whereas Johnathan and Cordelia were aware of the articles, but being the typical unusual Michael family, they liked the mystery going around.
Though cutting her parents short was not fair, considering Juliet had also been part of liking things out of the ordinary, but she never liked to admit it, not wanting to be dragged into her parent's work.
"Mom! Dad! I'm heading to the beach!" Juliet shouted as she ran out the door. Both parents glued to their armchairs researching, both responded in unison saying 'Stay safe have a good day'. She chuckled at her parents who were already swarmed in research with their work.
When she crossed the road to the beach, she noticed a bunch of shirtless males and a few females who seemed to be their other halves enjoying the day at the beach. Juliet had found herself quickly averting her eyes not wanting to stare too long, and end up getting herself in trouble. She was curious about them enjoying the beach on cold weather, with the sun barely peeking through the clouds but she had no right to judge them.
She chose to go further down the beach away from the group, as she quickly discarded her shoes in the sand as she walked over to the shoreline allowing her feet to feel the salty water. She let out a breath of relief, really having missed the salty air and water. Back at her hometown, she had not once stepped on any beach for two entire years, and she was really in the need of it.
The Uley pack and their imprints had looked over to Juliet curious on who she was, considering most locals tended to avoid the beach when they often came to it. It was like an unspoke rule for the locals to avoid the beach when they were there not that they cared, but Sam and his friends were often avoided.
Quil who was watching his imprint play soccer with the boys had immediately recognized Juliet having seen her two years ago when he tried to comfort Embry," Hey, Jake" He tapped on Jacob's shoulder who was talking to Seth next to him
"What?" He asked turning to him.
"That girl over there, I think that's Juliet" He whispered not wanting to have everyone turn their attention to him. Jacob looked over to the girl, that one of his best friends had spoken about over the two years, talking about how horrible he felt about things ended two years ago.
Jacob shot up from the log he was sitting on and ran over with the protest of Quil and the curious calls of everyone else. He jogged over to her, and since Juliet was so lost in her thoughts, she didn't hear the sound of heavy footsteps in the sand behind her.
"Juliet Michael" Jacob blurted out snapping her out of her thoughts making her shriek as she fell into the water. She let out a bunch of colourful curse words at the freezing water as she turned to the person who had nearly given her a heart attack.
