(Y/N)'s POV
Clear skies and light wind filled the chilled air outside the windows as I sat at my desk at the beginning of the school year. Its not my first year here, or my last, but this is the year that was going to mean something, I could just feel it. I made a promise to try and come out of my shell this year, to try to make friends, to be more outgoing. I always had problems being social. I'm not sure if I was afraid or just uninterested in other people, but I wanted to try to be normal, like every other teenager.
I sat in thought as the class began to fill in with other students, some I knew and others I didn't. I never really paid much attention to other people, so even if I recognized some of them, I didn't know who they were. I'm sure I had classes with at least some of them, but either I didn't bother to really remember them or they didn't stick out to me.
I let out a sigh as the bell rang. It was the first day of the year, so I was sure that it would be an easy day. Meet your teachers and classmates, go over classroom rules, do some stupid icebreakers and leave for the next class. Thankfully our school is on a block system, so we only have four separate classes a day. Only problem is, they last for like an hour and a half at least.
"Good morning class time to take your seats. If you all can behave you can sit where you please but I will assign you seats if we start to have problems" The first teacher seemed nice enough, she was a much older woman with a strange but intriguing sense of style, I took a liking to her immediately.
Just as I predicted the class was your basic first day bullshit, thankfully there weren't any icebreaker games, I hated those. The second class was the same, but our teacher was a lazy old man, I knew we'd never do anything in this class.
Finally the bell rang and I had to head off to my third class on the other side of the building. I put in my headphones and listened to my favorite song. As I was walking I felt someone run into me in a hurry to get passed, they hit my shoulder as they speed-walked, making me drop my phone and headphones
"Sorry!" I heard him gasp over his shoulder as I bent down to get my things. "I was in a hurry to get to my next class, I want to get a good seat.." He shyly giggled. I looked up at him, at first in irritation but then I saw him...
