I wake up in my apartment the next morning after the attack at the FBI station. I get dressed, take a shower, eat some quick oatmeal, and drink a cup of expresso. The phone rings..its most likely Roy. "He probably wants to talk to me about what happened yesterday." I figured. I pick it up, it's Roy, as I thought. "Hello?, Jane?" "Yes, this is her." I respond. "I need you to come down here to finish explaining to me what exactly happened yesterday, and about your...visions." He said. "Ok, I'll be right down." "See you." "Bye." I hangup and get my jean jacket out of my closet. I fasten the buttons and I'm out the door headed for the elavator.
I arrive to the station. It's sunny and warm outside, my favorite time of year is summer. It reminds me of going to the beach with my parents, sitting on the wooden dock, no shoes on. Peaceful. I miss those days, I miss them.
I stop daydreaming and hop out of my car. I'm greeted by the woman at the front desk. She wears a navy blue pansuit, black heals, a pair of silver glasses and a pearl necklace. She reminds me of my mother. Beautiful and professional. "Hello, I'm here to see chief Roy." "Ok. You can walk into the room to the left of the lobby." "Thank you!" She smiles back with a tight grin. A pleasant grin.
I continue towards his office. I knock on the door lightly. "Yeah, come in!" I crack open the door quietly, I step in. It's bigger than it looks on the outside. It's colder than the rest of the building, odd. There are abstract paintings, lining the walls opposite of eachother, and there is a large window exposing light to the entire room. The sunlight is the only thing warming up the space. "It's freezing in here Roy, ever thought of getting a heater for this room or opening a window. It feels great outside." I said. "I did'nt invite you to my office to make you feel uncomfortable. Would you rather go somewhere else?" "Can we go to my car, It's warm there?" , I said. "Sure, I hate it in here too, I'm never in here. I've just gotten used to it you know." , Roy said. "Yeah, I understand." I replied, agreeing with him.
"Nice car." Roy claims. "Oh, um this is kinda of a stolen car." I said childishly. "What!?" "You know you really suprised me, Jane. "First, you save my life from those men, then you steal a car? You seem strong, trustworthy, capable." I think I need you on the FBI beside me." He says. " Me?" I reply shocked. "Yeah, you." "But you don't even know what my visions could do, or what my ability exactly is.." He kisses me. It's a long kiss. He pulls apart from me and says " Shut up already."
