After a short ride in the car, we eventually arrived at the High Caliber shooting range. Me and Roy pay for 10 rounds at the buildings small lobby counter inside. The warehouse was large and had at least 20 rows of targets lined up against the back wall. Me and Roy choose lane 11 at the counter, we arrive at our lane. "This place is huge, Roy, where did you find it?!" I said. "Oh, this is where the team at the FBI and I go for fun, so we don't get rusty." Roy answered.
The first round was terrible, my aim with the shotgun was trash, I was so embarrassed in front of Roy. But all he did was give me tips and didn't laugh. Suprising. "My turn!" Roy cheerfully says. "Alright." I say in return, giving him the shotgun. "Well I haven't fired one of these bad boys in a while but I'm not rusty." He said reloading with a smile. "Hey." I said. "I saw a small concession stand when we walked in back there, want something?" I gestured. "Sure, I'll take a Coke or something. Thanks." He answered firing his first shot. It hit.
I make it to the concession stand, I find a small counter with a line of two people waiting for an order. I wait patiently for a few minutes until it is finally my turn to be helped. "Uh, hi! I wanted two Coke's please." I say. "Sure, honey." The sweet fragile woman answered. She wears a name tag with the name "Belle" on it.
She goes to the soda fountain and gets two medium sized cups with ice and fills them up. Then she firmly slaps a lid on them. Then hands them to me. "You're total is $2.67 please." She wagers kindly. I pull out $3.00 and give it to her. She takes it and gives me my change. "Have a nice day!" she says. " Thanks, you too!" I replied walking away.I approach our table that me and Roy were sitting at to find him reloading his third round on a pistol. "Here you go." I say handing him his drink. "Thanks." He said with a bright smile. I sit there watching him hit his shots while sipping on my Coke calmly.
I finish my Coke and throw it away in the garbage can and start for the restroom that was next to it. I enter one of the stalls and sit down. I start getting a throbbing pain in my head, like a flashing light. Pulsing quickly. I hold my head in my hands until I get a vision. This vision is clearer than the last vision of Roy back at the station. I see the woman at the counter writing something on the bottom of my cup, but I can't make out what it says exactly. It ends.
I exit the bathroom feeling weird like someone is watching me. I run over to the garbage can to see what the cup had written on it. I find it still there. I flip it over. On the bottom of says "GET OUT!". My heart start to pound faster and faster by each beat. I get a terrible feeling in my stomach, then all over my body. I panic.
I run over to Roy and say "We have to get out of here, NOW!" I say firmly. "But, I only have a few more rounds left on my rifle." He says in a confused voice not knowing what to think. "Um, I need to go home I don't feel so good." I say grabbing his hand as I walk him to and out of the door. "Ok?" He replies.
