"Wow you're really turning into a softie." Max remarked with a bit of a glare.

Baylee sat next to El and held her hand under the table. 

"Sorry I don't have bad manners." Baylee remarked.

"So El what do you like to do for fun?" Will asked. El looked at Baylee.

"Um, she doesn't like to talk much but if I may, I'd say hangout with me. We hangout a lot." Baylee said. 

"Yeah." El nodded in agreement. 

"Mike move your ass and switch seats with me." Max said. He rolled his eyes, adjusted his black leather jacket, and moved and now Max was sitting next to Baylee. She leaned her head on Baylee and looked at El.

"So you hangout with one of my favorite wierdos. Where did you guys meet?" Max asked. 

"School." El said. She was a little red in the face.

"Oh you go to the new school too. Can you imagine us in a place like that?" Mike laughed with Lucas who laughed too.

"They'd kick our dumbasses out." Dustin laughed.

"Hey I had an option and I chose to stay with you guys." Will stated and rolled the sleeves of his cardigan up.

"Unlike someone we all know." Mike teased Baylee.

"Hey I wasn't getting up earlier than I had to and obviously I was meant to go there." Baylee said.

"Yeah but now I don't get to see my boo so often." Max said.

"Your boo?" Baylee laughed.

"You're my boo bear." Max said hugging Baylee's arm. El looked pissed and Max noticed. 

"UhM last I checked she was mine." Mike argued.

"Both of you hush. She's my bestie." Dustin argued.

"All of you shut up. You're all equals." Baylee laughed.

"Why don't we go to the movies?" Lucas said.

"Let's do it." Max grinned and sat up in excitement. 

"Hey can you text your dad and let him know?" Baylee said to El.

"Yeah. You don't mind me tagging along?" El said. Max gave her a glare.

"Of course we don't mind!" Will said and elbowed Max.

"Ow rude!" Max growled.

"No! We love making friends." Dustin grinned.

"What are we gonna see?" Mike asked.

"A scary movie." Max said. "So scary we'll all have nightmares." Max added. 

"Baylee can we talk?" El asked.

"Sure." Baylee said and the two went off to the side.

"I- I don't want to see a scary movie." El said.

"Hey. Don't be embarrassed. We won't and even if we do I'll be right next to you and you can just look away ok?" Baylee said.

"I just- I'm sorry... I'm lame." El sighed. Baylee took her hand in hers.

"You're far from lame. You're the awesome. Now come on." Baylee grinned and didn't let El's hand go making El grin.

They all walked to the movies after Baylee put El's bike in her car and locked it in good. 

The movie theatre seats were recliner like chairs. Baylee and El got in one. Baylee giggled and pointed at Mike and Will. They were sharking on and Mike was holding Will's pinky trying to slowly hold his hand. El grinned. The movie began and El made it for the most part before she spooked and hid her face in Baylee's chest. Baylee told her when the scene passed and El went back to it. When the movie ended Baylee hugged all the guys bye then took El's hand in hers. It was dark but downtown was bright and alive.

"Where are we going?" El asked.

"I wanted to show you somethin'." Baylee grinned.

"How come you never told me about your friends?" El asked.

"I don't really know. The guys are cool but I just figured they might expose you to some stuff..." Baylee said.

"Like?" El said.

"Movies like that. Plus I always figured you'd clash with Max." Baylee said.

"You got that right." El sighed.

"What?" Baylee grinned.

"I dunno... I just, I didn't like her hugging up on you and calling you pet names." El admitted with a sigh.

"El don't even feel threatened." Baylee smirked. El blushed. 

"Here we are." Baylee grinned as they came up to a tree with fairy lights all in it. Baylee hopped in it and then held a hand out. El took it and Baylee pulled her right up.

"Look in here." Baylee whispered. El looked into the hole in the tree and saw four baby squirrels, newborns, all asleep.

"Awwww." El gawked.

"I feed the mom all the time." Baylee said and pulled out some feed from her pocket she handed some to El. Baylee shook it and the momma came out of the tree a ways. Baylee hand fed her then El put her hand in Baylee's and the squirrel ate from her hand too.

"They're lovely." El grinned.

"I figured you'd like it." Baylee said.

El looked at her and smiled even though everything in her was screaming at her to kiss the beautiful blonde girl in front of her. Baylee leaned in and El felt her heart racing. Their foreheads were touching. Baylee pulled away blushing.

"S-sorry. Here let's go." Baylee said and hopped down. El followed. 

"It's ok... yeah let's go." El said.
