Alicia's POV

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Your going to be late for school Alicia!" My mum calls out from downstairs.
"Coming mum!" I yell jumping down the stairs.
Hi I'm Alicia Grey and I'm sixteen years old and I'm born on the Fourth of July. (Right now it is June by the way) I am in grade 9 and I have a little crush on this guy at school. Okay so maybe not a little crush, a BIG crush. His name is Blaze and I love his personality and he has a great appearance. He has hazel-green eyes and has blonde hair and he's slightly shorter then me by about 3 cm and I'm about 165cm.
"Alicia!" I was snapped out of my dreamy state when my mum shouted AGAIN.
Apparently there is a hurricane coming today and that's why my mum is so stressed. She's been running around preparing for the massive storm coming our way. I couldn't blame her, outside, the sky's grey and it's raining, almost hailing.
I still don't know why I am still going to school and why is school still on anyway?
I ran out the door and to school which isn't very far away.
I into school and to where I normally sit with my friend Madelyne.
I saw Madelyne looking down. I ran up to her and sat down.
"Hiya Madelyne!"
"Hi," she says quietly. She's afraid of storms. When she was little her mum died when there was a tornado. She was driving home from work when a tree fell down and landed on the car while her and her dad were at home waiting for her patiently. She was nine when that happened.
I hugged her and told I will be with her to protect her from the storm.
The bell rang and me and Madelyne ran to English. I couldn't stop staring at Blaze. He was looking at the teacher when he caught me staring at him. I didn't get to see the look on his as I immediately looked up at the teacher that is repeating what she said yesterday.
