Goodbye

Tomorrow I'm leaving for my cruise and I'm going to miss Blaze. What happened two days ago, it made me want to be around him more.

Rung him up cuz I was bored.

"Hilo," I said, smiling.

"Hilo? What type of word is that?" he asked, I could see him raising an eyebrow.

"Hi and hello put together which makes hilo," I said, "Anyway, so when are you coming over today?" I asked. Well I'll explain how he got my address. That day at the park was when I told him and we discussed to have a day together before I go away.

"Oh umm in about five, see ya," he said.

"Bye,"

As soon as I hung up, I quickly got ready. I was wearing black tights with a shirt that had a picture of a chicken riding a skate board. Meh, that'll do.

When he arrived, he looked at my shirt and started laughing.

"What?" i said, crossing my arms.

"Nothin it's just that your shirt looks really restarted," he said. I showed him around my place and he smiled.

"I love your place, is that a race track?" he said, pointing at my race track in the lounge room. It had a Holden and ford side-by-side each other.

"Yup, bring it on," I said, dragging him over to the track.

"Ready, set, go!" I said pushing down on the controller, making the car race. Blaze made the Holden go to fast and it spun out.

"That's unfair! Stupid ford," he said, huffing.

"Ha! Told you ford is better but noooooooo Holden is," I said, smiling. I can't believe our friendship is growing so fast. I just hope he likes me the way I like him.

"Hmmm what shall we do..." he said trailing off while putting a finger on his chin.

"I know! Lets play my wii!" I said, pointing over to the wii. He agreed and we walked over to it.

"Ok, umm wii sports resort?" I asked, holding the case up.

"We played wii sports resort and I kept beating him in bowling and table tennis. But he kept beating me in wake boarding.:(

It was already 3:00 and we went to the park that was close to my house.

When we got there, we sat on the bench in front of the pond. We just stared at the ducks pointlessly and I felt my head leaning on his shoulder.

Just then an old couple came past and looked at us.

"Aww look at the young couple," the lady said, smiling.

"Oh, ummm... we are not a couple," I said sitting up straight, smiling.

"Oh, sorry, friends?" she asked.

"Yeah... just friends," Blaze said.

When the couple left us, we just stared at each other.

"Did they really just think-"

"Yup,"

"Okay..." I said trailing off. God dammit, and here comes awkward silence. thank you for ruining my life, awkward silence.

"Soooo should we go home?" he asked, not really knowing what to say.

"Yep," I said, popping the 'p'.

As we were walking I felt my hand slowly intertwine with his. Honestly, we are seriously acting like we're in a relationship. I think it's kinda oblivious to Blaze that I like him, just doesn't want to talk about it.

But isn't it obvious that he likes you?

No.

Yes, like c'mon, remember the other week when he almost kissed you?

Naaa he probably just got caught up in the moment.

Nup, he likes you.

SHUTUP BRAIN GAHHHHHH!!!!!!

"Alicia!" I heard Blaze call out. I felt someone grab me.

"Wa?" I asked shaking my head.

"Nothin you just didn't realise that there was a cycler coming your way, what were you thinking about?" he asked.

"Nothin, just had a mental argument with my brain," I said casually.

We got inside my house and it was 8:00 so we had dinner.

After we had dinner it was time for Blaze to go home.

"Bye Blaze," I said, unhappily.

"Hey, it's only two and a half weeks," he said, trying to make the situation a bit happier.

"That's agessssss," I whined.

"Anyway, school starts next week, you'll miss out on school,"

"Yeah but I'll cop it when I get back,"

"Anyway I should go, my mum would be pissed if come back late," Blaze said, while checking the time.

"Bye," I said hugging him. He didn't respond for a moment but then hugged back. I wish that moment can last forever but It couldn't.

We looked at each other for the last time before Blaze's mother pulled up.
I saw him disappear into the car and I immediately felt sad.
