Silence. The air was filled with it. It was deafening.
I tried to listen, listen for some noise to break this eternal silence.
Then I hear it.
Heavy breathing.
Coming from the insides of an animatronic.
The left.
I run to the right, down a hallway papered with newspaper clippings and blood, the words 'It's Me' scrawled on the walls.
I hear a child's laughter.
I hear deep, rumbling laughter.
The musky smell of old, rotting robots.
I reach the end of the end of the hallway and look around, finding myself trapped. I turn around, dreading what I would see.
There's nothing.
Nothing for a few minutes.
Until.
A Golden animatronic, a broken one, one just lying on the floor. It's deactivated, but is still twitching. It fades out into the darkness. I stand there staring, confused.
What the hell happened.
Suddenly Freddy appears in front of me.
He opens his jaws, as wide as they go. He lunges for me and grabs me.
All I see are wires and locks.
