Once upon a time there were two princes, far to north, they older of these two prince are blessed by many talents.
In the palace court where wit is more important than the size of your muscles, the court where there are many silver tongue nobles seeking higher rank, a bunch of snakes in the garden.
But the older one he is able to contend with them at such a young age, he shows wisdom like that of a sage, some of the power hungry nobles hated him but at the same time respected this young prince.
And this one prince he also shows such dexterity and talent in the sword, every single thing he learn, he learn with ease.
But the young one, the young prince, his little brother. Sadly he is nowhere near as talented as his older one, he is nowhere near stupid, and he is quite good with the blade, but compare to his older brother, he is average at best.
But weirdly enough this does not bother him? Why? Well tis because what he lacks in individual strength, he makes it in numbers.
While his older brother tends to the snakes in the palace, and learning all he could to inherit the land, and therefore always so busy, and with his talents, so unapproachable.
But his little brother is not, he is so approachable, somehow or the other he gather people, people that somehow or the other came to love him.
They say this little brother, is so fun, so free, he have his eyes set on the whole world! While his older brother is so cold, and have only his eyes set on the land he would rule.
One day, a master of martial arts came from the far east, a master of masters, he came to the palace to offer his teachings and wish to leave a successor. But he will only teach one.
His name is so far wide and known, the king at the time have no reasons to refuse.
The king introduced the eldest son, wishing for the master to teach his son all that he knows.
But the master refuses.
"No,no,no, this one will not do" The master martial artist said.
"This one lacks the 'heart', too cold, too tense, he will make a great king but a poor successor for me, i wish to teach 'him', i wish to teach the younger one"
"The younger one?!" The king and his court said in surprised.
"Ho ho ho, my oh my, what a reaction! Ho ho ho" The master said amused.
The younger prince does not have any reason to refuse, in fact seeing what the master could do, the young prince was enthralled.
"Damn, that shit is cool, teach me" The youngest prince said.
And so the teaching began, meanwhile a certain feeling begins to boil down on the eldest prince.
For once in his life, he feels envious for what his brother had.
He began to notice things, he saw his younger brother friends, who just treats him so casually, their eyes so pure seeking nothing nor expect nothing from the young prince.
The complete opposite from what he always saw in people when they are facing him.
And then at a different day, he catch a glimpse of the master who refused him, teaching his little, inferior brother.
And he wondered 'why?', 'why him?', 'why not me?', his feeling of envy just grew stronger and stronger.
Years passed and the two prince finally reach marrying age. The eldest have thousands of womens, a candidate for the title of his wife, and as concubines.
