Chapter 5: A

• • • GAEUL POV • • •

"A..." The Kang dude started. I promised myself I'd try my best to win. I need to be the center and only As can be the center. In other words, I needed to be an A. I stood up straighter, looking directly at the Kang dude. The Kang dude looked up and saw me staring at him. He looked back with a poker face. A scary one too... Kang dude? Stick with smiling, k?

"Ip Gaeul, congratulation," The Kang dude said, smiling. I jumped up into the air. Then I bowed and blew a kiss while winking, "Thank you~." This made all the teachers smile and laugh.

I ran to the back and told the camera that I got an A, "I got an A... wait. Why am I talking to the camera..." I guess I was over excited... Oh well, doesn't matter. I got an A sticker and put it on my name tag. I will. Never. Ever. Lose. This. A.

After everyone's performance we had a 5 minutes to chill before the song would be broadcasted. I walked up to my fellow As. There were only 7 of us.

Park Jihoon from Maroo Entertainment

Hae Yeoleum from Starship Entertainment.

And me, Ip Gaeul from Fantagio.

I saw the Park Jihoon dude alone. The Jellyfish people were together, and the rest were talking to each other. I went up to each of the As and told them we should introduced ourselves. They all agreed, except for Jihoon, either's he's mean or he's shy. Oh well, I held his hand and dragged him all the way to the corner everyone was at.

• • • JIHOON POV • • •

From the time I saw her on the throne I could tell she wasn't a normal girl. With her long brown hair, her big heterochromia hazel and dark brown eyes. Her slightly tanned skin. She spoke with a bit of a satoori. Like Daniel hyung's you know, like she's trying to fix it. 

When she wanted us to introduce ourselves I didn't feel like it. For some reason I felt shy all of the sudden. She grabbed my hand and my ears got hot. Gosh, I hoped I wasn't blushing. When we arrived to a corner, Gaeul started off.

"Hello, I'm Ip Gaeul the trainee from Fantagio. I was a child actor for 6 years and a dance trainee for 2 years. Nice to meet you, or should I say," She smirked. "Nice to beat you."

We all introduced ourselves and the song was released. It was good, but I thought our Nayana (Pick Me) was better.

And boy was Gaeul amazing. She danced so well, memorising every move. The thing is, I'm not sure she's open or not.

• • • JINYOUNG POV • • •

I was at my house watching produce 101. 

This is when I learned that Jihoon hyung is a playboy. It was so obvious that he like Gaeul as well as Gyeoul. Plus didn't Jihoon hyung know she was mine? Sigh... I guess it's partly my fault for never introducing her to him...

I called Gaeul, Jihoon hyung better not have done anything to her...

"Hello?" I heard her lovely voice. Oh I missed that voice...

"Gaeul, it's me," I smiled. I loved talking with her.

"Oppa~! I missed you so much," Gaeul said in her cute satoori of her's, making my heart melt. (A/N: BTW I was listening to beautiful while writing this and when I wrote this sentence Daehwi was singing "I miss you so much")

"I missed you too! I saw your performance on produce, congrats! You got an A," I congratulated her, I can imagine her smiling and blushing while holding the phone.

"Thanks, I'm gonna try my best to win. Also thanks for shooting in the music video... even if I had to bribe you to," She teased.

"My pleasure, you still owe me my samgursal (Pork Belly)," I told her.

"What?! No, I already gave you a serving!" She said.

"I need at least 4!" I whined.

"Okay, meet me at... xxx's samgursal place in 10," She said before hanging up. Is she crazy? What if she gets caught- who am I kidding, she won't and even if she does, she find a way to come anyhow.

I went to the place she told me to and saw her with... Jihoon hyung? I walked quietly behind her, trying to surprise her. She turned around and hugged me. "Oppa!" Dang! I failed again.

"Jinyoung?" Jihoon hyung asked. 

"Oh yeah, Jihoon ssi, this is my boyfriend, Bae Jinyoung. Oppa, Jihoon ssi drove me here since I can't drive," Gaeul hugged me and hung on my neck, shoulders and arm. she was 6 years younger than me so she was still small enough to do that. I saw Jihoon hyung's face fall. I felt bad for him... maybe I could help him with Gyeoul? Oh but I ship her with Daniel...

I had this bad feeling that Gaeul was supposed to be Jihoon hyung's. No as long as I live, and beyond that, she'll be mine. I hope...

• • • UNKNOWN POV • • •

I saw him. My soulmate. How do I know? When he talked to me, I felt a tug on my arm, right above my elbow, where my mark is. My soulmate mark. Plus, he has a aura around him, an aura I've never seen before. But I can't marry him or even date him, why? I promised myself I'll overcome this destiny. 

As long as I don't talk directly at him, he won't know, right? I looked at the words on my arm, "Excuse me, your name is --------, right?"

A/N: I blocked off their name so you wouldn't know who they are.

I had just nodded and walked away, but what if I have to talk to him? I guess I'll just say, "I have no intention of loving you. I won't accept my fate, so don't try."

Gosh, wouldn't it be funny if that was written on his arm? I'll stay ice cold to him for now. 

I don't need a soulmate, I just need to debut.
