Six months later...

Lexi and Hailee are out with my parents for the day as they offered to have them since I was having a little get together with my crew. My fingers are red from the bag of takis that are on my lap.

"You're such a messy eater Mila" Aglaë says passing me a napkin while laughing

"Um not all the time and thank you" I say taking the napkin and wiping my bright red fingers.

"You may not always be a messy eater but your organizational skills are horrid. Your side of the closet looks like a bomb went off love" Matthew says chuckling as I roll my eyes.

"Is this roast Camila time because I'm really being burned" I say playfully acting sad

"We aren't roasting you love we're just uh what do the kids call it? Oh yeah we're just spilling the truth tea!" He says throwing up a peace sign

Everyone falls over laughing with tears in their eyes at Matthew trying to be cool. I can't comment because I can be just as cringy.

"Hussey don't ever say that again" Kachi says through her laughter

Matthew gives a goofy smile, "Anyways I'll be up in the office doing some work if you need me" he leans over and kisses my cheek before walking upstairs.

My mind wanders to Lexi and Hailee curious if they haven't been too crazy for their Abuela. I wonder if Lexi hasn't made some sassy comment correcting her since she's quite smart. And if Hailee hasn't thrown a major fit since she is not use to being away from me. Regardless I love them both to pieces but it's nice to catch a break. I unlock my phone and notifications start coming in at a rapid pace. Most of the crew has left but Aglaë who insisted to stay to help clean up. As I'm replying to fans the all too familiar dull pain in my chest starts and as if the universe orchestrated this perfectly Agalë lets out a small gasp pulling on my left arm as I drop a spoon into the kitchen sink. The ache in my chest crescendos like there's an orchestra in leading up to the climax in a piece of music.
Aglaë slowly props up her phone using the pop socket and sits on a chair at the breakfast bar. I walk over slowly grasping the side of the counter before sitting down next to her. When I finally have the courage to look down at her phone, my face goes pale and tears quickly fall down from my eyes. It's an article from Broadway World about the opening night of the revival of the musical Gypsy. There in the photo on the red carpet standing in front of the other cast of adults is Rebecca. She's wearing a blue a sparkly dress as her curly hair is put in a ponytail with black flats that have a bow on them. A tooth is missing as she smiles brightly not phased by the crowd. The article explains that Rebecca plays Baby June in the production. My hearing fades out and I can only see Aglaë's lips moving and her eyes looking at me with concern. She passes me a glass of water and I take it shaking as I bring it up to my lips..

"Breathe Camila, Breathe" Agalë says softly

I nod my head in reply before looking down at the article again. Taking slow deep breaths I start to read it again. "Little Rebecca Blair is by far the cutest addition to the cast".

"Blair, her last name is Blair now" I say softly as Aglaë watches me carefully

I continue to read, "a mini pro at the tender age of four years old, luckily we were able to get the inside scoop of what a day in the life is like for the young star making her broadway debut"

"Click on the damn video Aglaë" I say clenching the side of my glass cup

She clicks on the video and my little Rebecca pops up onto the screen. She's wearing a pink backpack that's almost the size of her and she's in a simple outfit.
