{Daisy POV}
"Please mom! Please!" I begged my mom again.
"I already told you no."
"Why not! What are our chances of us winning anyways? Plus you never let me do anything when I ask. Jessica asked at the beginning of this summer in exact words, 'Can I go stay with my friend and her family at the beach this summer and come back a day after school starts?' You said of course! When Mike asked if he could stay with his friend at his mom's condo in California, which is on the other side of this country, for a week you say, 'As long as you call me everyday'." I stopped to take a short breath.
"When I ask if I could enter a contest for a once in a life time chance to get One Direction, my favorite band, concert tickets you say no. You won't even look into the contest." I slid my phone and my IPod into my back pocket as I walked towards the door.
"What time will dinner be ready?" I asked as I opened the door and turned around.
"6:30 like always, Daisy, it's only 2:37, where are you going?" My mom asked.
"To the park to break the news to Hannah and Effy. Don't worry I'll look both ways before I cross the street and I'll try not to get my money taken by the little kids on my way to the park." With my last word I slammed the door shut and started walking.
I know I'm going to be in trouble when I got home for back talking and slamming the door. I was acting more like my older sister, Jessica, than myself. She was care free and always getting in trouble nowadays.
I couldn't help but get myself worked up over this and I don't know why. I just really want to see One Direction while they are close to Fort Rucker at all. Their manager thought it would be good idea to give away three tickets to Fort Rucker for more publicity for them or they are being nice and giving back to the military children.
To win the concert you would enter your name, address, and a 500 or more worded paper on why you want to win the tickets. The contest closes in two days and the winner would be announced in a week or so. This is a life time opportunity and I was missing it!
I walked in the park to a set of swings. I came here every now and then for some fresh air, but mainly to clear my head. I sat on the left swing and took my phone out. I sent a message to both Hannah and Effy asking if they would meet me at the park. My phone buzzed a few seconds later.
Hannah: Sure! I'll be there in 20. I have to clean my room :P
I laughed at the fact that her mom was making her clean her room. Hannah is a really petite girl. She has straight, dirty blond hair that comes past her shoulders. She has green eyes that have a tint on light brown in them. She also has a really cheeky personality that can brighten up any ones day.
I was about to reply back when my phone buzzed twice.
Effy: Yeah, be there as soon as I can. Have to get Mary or Chloe to watch the younger ones.
Efy : What did your mom say about the contest?
Effy is a triplet and the oldest one too. Her family also has three younger siblings. She has brown hair that can get really wavy. Her hair comes down past her shoulder blade and she has blue-green eyes.
I have blond hair that comes to my mid-back. I have dark brown eyes and natural wavy/curly hair. I normally straighten my hair when we go places.
