Chapter 7 * A Fight Unexpected *

Chapter 7

Brinn's POV

"So where do we start?" Drench asked me.

Its already morning and we got a great night.

Infact, I was kinda impressed by this guy. Aba! Kahit na sya ang nagbayad nung hotel, pinatulog nya parin ako sa kama and he, as a gentlemen at the couch. I don't really know but I think i kind off started liking him. Not mistaken as in romantic way but as a friend.

"Here." I pointed to the address on the paper.

"Oohh. Let me search it on the GPS." Drench said. He got his phone and search the address. "Aw, medyo malayo pala to eh."

"Yep. Pero atleast it will be worth it." I agreed.

He nodded as we continued walking downstairs the hotel and stopped a taxi. I gave the taxi driver the address.

"ce sera un long voyage madame" said the driver.

"Ano daw?" Tanong ni Drench.

"Magiging mahaba daw ang byahe natin." I translated.

Napawow ko yata ang loko.

"son accord, nous sommes prêts à payer assez d'argent" i answered, meaning we're willing to pay.

The driver started to drive off. All in all, it was a nice ride but something happened.

Halfway on our trip, I felt something no good. Something scary. And I know when i feel this vibe, something is really gonna happen.

As we drove to a lonely road, three men stopped us. They we're holding guns and their faces covered with masks.

Letse naman, sa pinakamalas na araw pa talaga kami nagkaganito.

In fear, we stopped. They tried to get all our money pointing their guns against us, not having mercy and could kill us.

I knew this was coming.

"regarder, les étrangers. disons simplement les tuer tous après que nous obtenions l'argent." One guy said.

And as a pro in French language. Syempre alam ko yun!

Sabi nila foreigners daw kami, kaya papatayin nila kami pagkatapos nila makuha ang pera.

No! i can't die! Marame pa akong gustong gawin sa buhay ko. I haven't even found grandma yet! Nooo!

Nagulat nalang ako nang biglang lumabas si Drench ng Kotse.

He isn't going to run.

He is giving a goddamn fight.

He tried to fight, no. He fought with the bad guys. Unbelievable.

He smack them in their faces. Slap, then kick! Punch, then kick.

All I can see was Drench winning against these men.

He's strong. But wait!

I can see the other guy getting a knife.

Is he going to kill Drench?!

I came out of the car yelling.

"Drench!"

"Drench!"

I covered him up and then everything went black.

My eyes started to opened. I can see light.

Oh my gosh am I dead? Oh no!

"Your'e awake." Somebody spoke.

"Oh my. Is that you God? Uhmmm. Hindi pa po ako handa! Just please let me go back. Please po.. Promise di na po ako magiging pasaway."

"Uhmm, what are you talking about Brinn?" I saw Drench.

"Drench?" I came back to my senses.

"Yes?" He smiled.

"What just happened? Where am I?" I asked him.

"Your'e in the hospital." He answered.

"And why?"

"Remember kahapon? We were going to your great grandmother's house and we met three thiefs?" He explained.

Tumango ako.

"Well, nasaksak ka nung isa sa mga gago." I was shocked.

"What?" I felt pain at my shoulders. To my surprise, nakabalot sya sa benda and it was stained with blood.

"Don't worry. Minor injury lang naman sya. Sabi ng doctor you have to stay here in three days for recovery." He said.

" what?! How are we gonna supposed to find grandma?" I complained.

"Wag kang mag-alala, I'm going to continue the search." He said calmly.

"I'll just go get buy you foods. And by the way, I'm sorry." He said kissing me in the forehead.

I felt something unusual. Something so good i have to feel it once more. I wonder whats this.
