Chapter VI: A Surprising Comeback

Bakugou glared at them ferociously, his palms crackling and popping dangerously.

Todoroki bowed his head. "I apologize, Bakugou. We were having fun and I didn't realize..."

"Kacchan, I'm so sorry!" Midoriya screamed, tears swimming in his vision as he looked at Bakugou with pleading eyes.

Bakugou's eyes hardened as then he looked down at the small bunny at his feet.

"Dango, find them. Now."

Dango twitched his nose and then she hopped, light flashing in mid air before she was human, a beautiful girl with black hair, pink eyes and a sweet smile.

"Hello, you three! I guess Boss wants to find his kids?" She asked, smoothing her sweater down.

"H-how? But... rabbit? Clothes...?! Wha——" Kirishima stuttered in confusion before Bakugou scowled.

"Find them, Dango. I don't have much time. Those were probably the goons of that other bastard." He snarled, his fists clenching as smoke started to appear.

"Other bastard?" Todoroki asked, eyes on Dango who started to sniff the air and follow something that probably didn't exist.

Bakugou tensed, his body scrunching up as he crossed his arms and his fists clutched his elbows. He didn't seem like he wanted to answer, but with three intense stares, he looked nervous.

But more than anything, he looked scared. His face was pale and sweaty as his body shook with light tremors. He was terrified for the four.

As Dango followed whatever scent she picked up on, she said, "Oh, the guy who raped you?" in a rather bland, casual voice.

Kirishima choked. Midoriya whirled around to pin Bakugou with his questioning stare and Todoroki's frown deepened.

".... what...?" He asked in a deadly whisper.

Bakugou looked away, glaring at Dango, who didn't look scared, but rather irritated, as if she was annoyed that he seemed to be giving her the stink eye.

"What? You were gonna tell them sooner or later, right? Tell them who the guy is too," she said, before putting her nose in the air and then trailing somewhere.

As they followed her, they stared at Bakugou accusingly.

He didn't look at them, only harshly whispering, "Dango! Why'd you tell them?!"

"I wasn't there when you got raped but I was there when you came home. If your kids don't know, at least let the fathers know that you were attacked. Trust is a two way road, Boss." Dango lectured as she  sniffed the ground.

Midoriya grabbed Bakugou, pushing him into the wall. "And when were you gonna tell us?"

Bakugou bit his bottom lip, his teeth pulling on the fleshy lip and then he pushed Midoriya away.

"I'll answer you later. Right now, I'm gonna find my kids."

Then Dango hopped up, pumping a fist in the air. "Boss! Located the van! It's by that warehouse that disguises themselves by calling it a donation house for the poor."

"Oh?" Bakugou asked, curious as he looked around the corner. "What kind of things can you smell?"

"Well, I smell humans for sure. Definitely some fear, a lot of hate. Sweat, I can smell some burning meat, but the smell is sweet, so human. I think it's a quirk. Some crying, a few shouts are what I can hear. They're yelling instructions. About to leave with the cargo soon. But distantly... I can hear the four."
