Being an athlete's girlfriend was still something I was trying to get used to years later. It definitely wasn't a position for the weak. The girls in his face every time we're out. The girls in his DMs. The public is constantly in your business. If your relationship doesn't have a solid foundation, it has no hope in this lifestyle.
I remember when me and LaMelo first started getting serious. LaMelo was playing for Spire. The limelight was knew to me and I had to take plenty of social media breaks because these people think they entitled to speak on business they heard about. Those breaks were necessary for the sake of my sanity and our relationship especially with us being long distance.

I thought our relationship was at its best. We had both matured. We had moved in together. We were both independently succeeding. LaMelo was doing his thing playing for the Lakers and I was finishing up my Bachelor's degree at UCLA as a transfer student.
It sucked that I wasn't graduating as an Aggie, but the move was a necessity for the progression and success of our relationship. We had been doing long distance on the east coast and that was tiring enough so we decided to live together in California when he got drafted.
It seemed like a smart move. Like I said, we were both flourishing and getting our needs satisfied. The excitement was short lived when his ex-girlfriend popped into the picture. Now, she wanted to be all in his face because he was a professional player. I paid it no mind until he started entertaining her.
I never caught them texting, but people started sending me pictures and videos of them out together. His behavior started to change and his started to slip back into his old childish ways. I told him from jump that shit wasn't going to fly, but he wanted to play with fire. I drew the line when I was sent a picture of them holding hands.
I know my worth and I was not about to settle for the disrespectful regardless of how much his bank account was sitting on. They broke up because she couldn't handle the pressure while he was playing high school basketball. I held him down from high school until he went pro. If that's what he wanted, I was gladly going to let him have it.
But he wasn't going to have me too. I left all my family and dreams behind and he couldn't even be faithful. I was pissed so I put him out. He went to live with his parents and we stopped speaking. I had blocked his number until I found out I was pregnant.
Of course, he wanted no parts because he claims he has too much going for himself to take care of a child. I wasn't going to force anybody to be in my child's life that didn't wanna be but he was going to help in some way to provide for this baby. He agreed to pay child support.
Thankfully, his older brother, LiAngelo has stepped up as a father figure. Him and his girlfriend, Jaden had been a big help with helping me adjust to motherhood.

I woke up and grabbed my camera off the charger. I wiped the corners of my eyes before turning the camera on.
"Good morning, y'all. If you're new here, I'm Nadia and I have a daughter named Lathan. Today's video is going to be my first day in the life vlog. As you can see, I just woke up. I start my morning by getting myself ready before I wake up Lathan. I hope y'all enjoy today's vlog. Let's get into the video."
I stopped recording and set up my camera and tripod in the bathroom. I began my routine by applying my face scrub and brushing my teeth. After I washed off the face scrub, I hopped in the shower. I washed my body, enjoying the hot water.
After my shower, I dried off and applied my lotion. I threw on a t-shirt and some shorts before stopping the camera. I moved the tripod and camera into my room before making my bed. After I made my bed, I moved my equipment into Lathan's room. I leaned over into her crib and lightly rubbed her back to wake her up.
