A few days later..

I woke up and stretched before grabbing my phone. I had more notifications. From what I could see at the moment, they were mostly from YouTube. I'm guessing my subscribers loved the video and they were geeked because I was finally back after a break from YouTube. I got out of the bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. As I was about to sit on my bed and read the feedback, I heard Lathan crying. I went in her room and grabbed her from her crib.

"What's wrong with mama's baby?"

She buried her face in my shoulder as I carried her back into my room. I sat her on the bed before getting on the bed myself. As soon as I got comfortable, she curled up in my lap. As I was about to open YouTube to look at the comments, I got a FaceTime call from my bestfriend, Alexis. I answered.

"Where my god baby at?"

I aimed the camera at Lathan.

"She's right here, dozing. Why?"

"Cover her ears."

I grabbed my AirPods, "What's wrong?".

"Bitch, the internet got you and my god baby fucked up. Everybody under The Shade Room comments trying to call you a hoe and bring up old shit about you and LaMelo. They trying to say you were using him for clout. Talking mad shit like I won't dm for addresses and smack bitches."

"Let me see what you talking about and ima call you back."

"Well I'm headed into work so I'll call you when I get off."

"Alright bet. Love you."

"Love you too."

When I hung up, I went straight to The Shade Room's Instagram page. There was a picture of LiAngelo with the caption: "#TSRPipingHOTTea: Looks #LiAngeloBall has a baby girl with #LaMeloBall 's ex. She's precious. Congratulations to the both of them." I scrolled through the comments seeing things like:

"That's some hoe shit."

"That's why LaMelo broke up with her ass and got back with Ashley."

"Jaden better than me because I would've fucked both of them up."

"Look what the money make a bitch do."

"Hoes ain't got no morals these days."

After scrolling through the hate comments on Instagram, I went to YouTube. The comments on there were of the same quality with exception of comments on how adorable Lathan is. I was honestly pissed because people take anything and run with it. The story had even made it to the tea pages and Messy Monday on YouTube. I decided to watch the Messy Monday because I mean I love Zo, but I definitely wanted to see what shit they would be talking in his comment section.

"Next, we have Nadia Eve, LiAngelo Ball, and LaMelo Ball. The drama started after Nadia uploaded a video on her YouTube channel saying that LiAngelo is her babydaddy, which LiAngelo also confirms in the video. The reason that's so messy is because a while back, Nadia was dating LiAngelo's younger brother, LaMelo. The baby don't look that old and LiAngelo has been with his girlfriend, Jaden since back when LaMelo and Nadia were together. Maybe her and LaMelo broke up because she was sleeping with LiAngelo. This a whole lot of whole lotta, but if it ain't me, somebody need to test the paternity. Next case!"

Of course, they were shit talking in the comments similar to Instagram and at this point, I wanted to go live and set the record straight because I wasn't about to be made out to be a hoe when I ain't did shit wrong.

The drama had flooded my mind, but I wanted to wait until later to get on live so I could rant in peace. I slid Lathan over and covered her up. I hopped in the shower while she was still sleeping. When I got out the shower, she was sitting up on the bed. When she looked at me, she smiled. I walked over and kissed her forehead before getting dressed. I took her into her bathroom and got her washed up and dressed as well.
