You could hear deep echoes being heard throughout the whole cave. I picked up my staff and I summoned thunder. Clouds from above appeared and lightning started to rain from it. I screamed with laughter. The whole area began to cave in. Incidentally, I didn't plan for this to happen. I gathered all of my things and tried to run out to the entrance. However, rock and boulders that fell down above me had blocked my way out.
"I was so close. I needed a little bit more time."
I collapsed from being exhausted from sprinting from the depths of the cave.
I went back to my guild with Riku to discuss some plans. We needed to figure out how to get that gem in order to fulfill that requirement to join the guild.
"Riku how did you find your gem to join the guild."
"Oh I actually didn't I had a different quest aside from yours. I had to kill a certain amount of mobs and get their drops in order to join."
"Oh, I see. The clerk did say we could obtain it from the ice chamber."
"Perfect, then let's head there right away." Riku started to pick up his things.
We both got ready to head out of town. We went out of the guild and walked inside of the market. It was a bit busy today. People were swarming in the street, it felt really compact so we couldn't move in the sea of people. After managing to maneuver around the market, we went to the outskirts of town and supposedly the cave was just a few miles away. There were so many docile monsters, yet it feels a bit uneasy as if something that has been corrupted nearby.
"Something feels not right here Riku. I can feel it."
"Really? I don't feel anything it must be just you."
"I guess."
We both arrived at the cave. There was nothing unusual out of the ordinary.
"That's odd this cave looks like it had a bit of a party here. Stay close Alluria," he instructed.
I stayed very close to Riku in any case of danger. The cave path was very tight. It was very claustrophobic trying to squeeze in through.
"We're inside Alluria."
I got out of the path and saw that the cave was in ruins. It was very crumbled as if someone had sabotaged it.
"This is weird usually you can't destroy maps in games. It would just do nothing."
"Well that's not the case now, is it?"
I looked through the wreckage and just to find some slightly burnt rocks off to the side. I picked it up and examined it.
"It looks like someone was here before us. Any idea who could have done this?" I gave the rock to Riku.
"It looks like it could've been a mage."
I looked around once more and there was a small light that flashed at me. It appeared to be another path. I walk towards it, however, the path was pitch black. I picked up a nearby rock and threw it inside the depths of the path. There were signs of dangers ahead.
"Riku, I found another way here."
"Alright cool, wait up."
Riku walked towards me in front of the dark path. A shiver went down my spine due to how the intensity of this cave was. We both walked in together nervously in the path. On the other side, there was a huge room. It felt very suited for the royals. The place had a huge core to it. There were some steps that were leading up to some sort of a stage. Riku climbed up to the stage and I had followed. It looks like there was something living here, food scraps were scattered all over the floor. Then my attention had changed someone that was laying down on the floor. Riku started to go to see who it was then the floor started to rumble. There was a huge crash right behind us. The crash had created dust and covered the whole cave. It had blocked my vision. There was a huge roar that could be heard throughout the cave.
