I rented a hotel out near the docks and waited for the next ferry to come along for the trip. It seems like the ferry was coming to all the player's locations that were invited to the party. How convenient. I can't wait to meet whoever comes. I decided to wait and relax until when it came, thinking of all the things I could do during the trip. The idea of me getting recognized is huge. I feel as if this might be the very first time I am being rewarded for the things I do. This heartwarming feeling felt nice. I heard noises outside of the hotel and got out and walked to the ferry. A sailor was waving his arms around signaling that it was almost time to go.
"Last call for anyone who wants to get on the ferry."
I walked up to him handing my ticket to the island resort for the party.
"Here's my ticket for the ride."
"Thank you, welcome on and enjoy your ride."
I got on the boat and there were many people on the boat. It was almost fairly crowded. There was a banquet for the Irusen players to meet up at. I looked for the nearest changing room to switch my attire in order to dress formal as much as I can. I got out of the room and head straight forward to the banquet. A tall man bumped into me. He had wavy long hair. He was tucked in a tuxedo. He fixed himself and turned to me.
"Oh, my bad milady. I was just rushing over to the banquet room."
I listened to his voice and his attitude felt so similar. "Oh you're fine I just wasn't paying attention."
"Well since we are here together might as well walk together to the room. Oh and let me introduce myself. The name's Joey." She talks a bit to them and kind of recognized the way they talk.
As he told me his name I knew it was him the person who had helped me with the Chaks in near the camp.
"Joey?! Hey, it's me Alluria. My real name is Mari. It's nice to meet you finally in person."
"Oh wow, Alluria! I'm glad to see you here on this lovely trip to the island resort." Joey said happily.
"Yeah, I just happened to get an invitation in the very last minute."
"Alright, that sounds lit," as Joey laughed.
We both made it to the banquet room and we saw the other players or invitees for the trip. Everyone in the room was dressed fancy. One person's had a pink ball gown that was down to their feet. She walked as if she was a royal princess. As she walked by a couple of people she had greeted with a curtsy. There were also many other sharp gentlemen in the room that kind of caught my eyes a bit.
A man had come onto the stage in the banquet room and was testing his microphone.
"Hello everyone, my name is Bruce and I am one of the developers of Irusen Online. We all are glad that you were able to make it here to our extravagant trip to an island resort. As for now, we will do some icebreakers so that everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves. Our first game will be a tea party, please wait for our servers will bring you a tea of your choice so that you will enjoy your time. The next game will start when you guys get a good chance to talk to a few of your peers."
Bruce left from the stage and exit to backstage. Joey had seen a couple of his friends and ran over there to talk to them. A server came to me and took out his notepad.
"Hello miss, what tea you would like to drink?"
"I would love some milk tea, make it black."
"As you wish," as the waiter went back to the kitchen to get the order done.
