Hey! I know it's been awhile since I've updated this book, but I fully plan on finishing and continuing this series! The main problem is that currently there is a large plot whole that is coming up soon and I need to fill in that plot whole in order to finish outlining this book so I can continue writing. The next chapter is half way written, and trust me it's going to be a long one, there's a lot of information that needs to be shoved into that chapter.

Other than the plot hole, I have some concerns about other things. For one as many of you probably know from one way or another, solage was originally a dp oc, and of course I'm writing this whole book about her, so I've been trying to pull her character away from the whole dp thing as much as I can without changing her entire character.

I just got out of the shower (this is important lol) but while I was in the shower I had this idea. A large part of Danny's character was his transformation, you know the light show, and I still absolutely love everything about that, but again I'm trying to pull her away. So my idea was what if instead of a transformation her hair was stripped of all color when she "died" And it doesn't change back. I still want her to have these two vastly different looks, but I as a cosplayer am also aware of these wonderful things called lace front wigs.

So solage, who wants to keep this whole thing on the dl, would wear a wig, since her uniform is also something she makes and doesn't just appear. The whole eye color thing is explainable by when she's using her powers it's the magic coming to the surface which would also cause a glow and the change in skin tone.

Another thing is the ecto blasts which is a long range ability that I would like to keep the essence of and since solage is canonically a dp fan anyways, I thought what if she had web shooter like devices on her wrists, but lasers, that allowed her to build up energy.

Obviously she is still heavily inspired by dp but she's also her own character. I will always give credit to butch, because he's such an inspiration to me and solage wouldn't exist without him, but she's also becoming her own person.

Another note I should mention is that the character that has been sarah up till this point has changed to Ava in future chapters, Sarah will still be within the series just not as the character she was.

This book is still my first draft and as such the most important thing to me is to just get everything down, and I can change and fix things later. So previous chapters will remain the same and only future ones will have these changes.
