It had been a few months after Molly was rescued by me and Sherlock, and everyone was glad that she had moved on from it so quickly, even finding a special someone. That's Molly for you. Delicate, yet always strong.
As for me and Sherlock, well...we are dating, but when people ask what we are, he says sentiment. So I guess, that means boyfriend and girlfriend, right? Considering the fact that we kiss at least ten times each day, that's more than enough proof.
We were at Molly's wedding. She was going to get married to Terrence Wood. Me and Molly knew him as children, he's really nice, and really trustworthy, but I never thought of him as more than a brother, dunno about Molly though. She's always a surprise. He also bought Sherlock a new watch, which Sherlock took apart and experimented on, of course.
We were both drinking our glasses of wine while looking at each other, teasingly.
"What is it?" Sherlock asked in an amuse tone.
"Nothing." I said, smiling.
He pulled me in closer to him by wrapping his arm around my waist and kissed me on the cheek.
"What do you think your doing?" I said, giggling before I took another sip of the wine.
"Why do you ask?" He said, grinning before he took another sip of his own wine, his other arm still around my waist.
"I'm not your kissing buddy." I said, still giggling.
"You're right. You're not only my kiss buddy, you're my only interest." He said, kissing me on the cheek again.
"Interest?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I think a more suitable word would be hobby...yea that works too." He mumbled to himself, yet still audible for me to hear.
I turned and stared at him with a smile.
"Wait, I found a better word for you." He said, putting down his glass and placing both his hands on my waist.
"Tell me." I said staring into his intoxicating eyes.
"Addiction." He said, almost sighing before crashing his lips onto mine into a deep and passionate kiss.
I wrapped my arms around his neck for support.
He picked me up shortly after, my bridesmaid dress' frills twirling to the wind he caused by twirling me around in the air.
He then put me down, because we realize we were at a wedding, and there were people there, watching us, judging us.
When he put me down, both our faces were flushed red, and Molly alongside with Terrence were...well...they were giggling at us.
Sherlock later performed a piece that he himself had composed on his violin for Molly and Terrence.
It was beautiful, I must say. Not only was the music beautiful, but the way Sherlock moved the bow across the strings and the way his devilish curls swayed when he played quick measures...I could go on forever.
His piece pretty much marked the end of the wedding day. Everyone congratulated Molly, I'm glad, really I am that she got over Sherlock because...you know.
"Congrats Molly!" I said hugging her tightly. They grow up so fast!
"Thanks Y/N!" She replied smiling sweetly. She really has the sweetest of smiles.
"Congratulations." Sherlock said hugging Molly as well.
"Thank you for coming!" She replied giggling.
"Of course I would come." Sherlock said, causing people nearby, including myself to giggle.
"That's what she said." I said, making Sherlock roll his eyes.
"Take good care of her." I told Terrence, in a serious tone, then hugged him while giggling shortly after.
"Woah, you scared me girl, and of course I will." He said smiling.
"Ahem..." Sherlock coughed.
"What?" I turned my head and looked at him, while hugging Terrence.
"N-Nothing...congratulations Terrence." Sherlock said. I could be wrong, but his face seemed to show that of irritation.
"Thanks, man." Terrence said with a smirk.
On our way out, I took Sherlock's hand and looked at him.
"You got jealous back there, didn't you?" I asked, giggling.
"Don't be absurd." Sherlock said, his face flushing red.
"If Absurd is the truth, then so be it." I said.
"But..." He tried to protest.
"Don't worry, he's nothing more to me other than like a brother." I said smiling.
"What am I then?" Sherlock stopped walking and placed both his hands on my waist again, his intoxicating yes staring down at me intently.
"The question isn't what are you...it's what are we." I said, looking into his pupils as they ever so slightly began to dilate. The sight was quite beautiful.
"I see...so...what's the answer, then? He asked, as my face began to blush.
"You know the answer..." I said looking down, trying to hide my blushing face.
He lifted my chin up and smiled.
"I want to her you say it." He said softly.
I dug myself into this one.
"Sentiment." I said.
"Beautiful. Music to my ears in fact." He said.
"Really?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Really." He said.
"Do I get a reward?" I asked, biting my bottom lip excitedly.
"I don't see why not." He said.
"I want a piggyback ride!" I said, childishly.
"Wait...what?" He exclaimed in a surprised tone.
"You heard me." I said smiling.
"Alright, get on my back." He sighed.
I got on his back and rested my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes, as he walked us to his flat, where we both now lived. Together.
It wasn't a very far walk from 221B so we didn't have to call a cab. Plus, I could tell he liked how the stars looked at night, because I like them too.
"Sleepy, are we?" He chuckled.
"A bit..." I said yawning.
"Go to sleep. I'll be sure to wake you up when we get home." He said softly.
Home.
