The Beta On The Run[DISCONTINUED]

Ok here we go!

Evan's P.O.V

Oh god oh god oh god! They're gonna catch up! I could here their howling from afar as I kept sprinting trying to get away from them. Get back here! My Alpha shrieked in the mind link. No! You were gonna force me to be your mate! I screamed back.

I closed off the mind link and looked around to see that I was in a forest and that I was near a pack. I could see some wolves just watching me as I ran but as soon as I looked back my tail was bit! "Ouch! Let go right now!" I growled out starting to struggle and fight back.

"No! Now be a good little beta and be my mate!" I nearly whimpered at my alpha's booming voice seeing as I was the lowest ranking beta bordering along the lines of being an omega. I suddenly remembered the wolves nearby! They could help but when I looked back, they were gone.

God damnit! I growled underneath my breath and started struggling more managing to bite my alpha's tail thus making him let go of me and allowing me to run again. Which is exactly what I did. You bitch! My alpha cursed. Hah, you can't even catch the lowest ranking beta? What a joke. I mocked only making him angrier.

While running I thought back to the events earlier of how this whole chasing thing started...

It was a normal day, or as normal as you can get in this pack of mine. Considering the fucking terrifying alpha we have and me being part of a resistance to help get the omegas out of here with their family (if they have one). Anyway I was helping a group of omegas out of here and I was dealing with the last one when I suddenly heard that all to familiar voice behind me. "What do you think you're doing?" I froze on the spot making the omega whimper in fear because of the strong presence and me almost joining along with them. I quickly snapped out of it and set the omega down but not before whispering where to go and sending them off. Telling them I'll hold back the alpha.

Which is how we got to here, with the alpha chasing me and me running for my dear life. Since he figured out that all the omegas are gone and there's only betas left, I was going to leave to but I couldn't. Not before making sure the others were safe from him so yeah.

And once again I nearly got away but of course not without some asshole pulling my tail. And me once again fighting tooth and nail to escape knowing that I'll be forced to mate if I go back and if his patients really running low like it is now then it'll happen right fucking now

But thankfully some other wolf saved me right before it happened and when I got a closer look I saw it was Craig! (Craig is also part of the resistance and the highest ranking beta). He got into a fighting stance showing that he wasn't going to back down. Which I was thankful for, I didn't want to be the alpha's mate!

The alpha then dropped me to the ground and also got into a fighting stance, I ran behind Craig and took off running knowing full well that he was going to follow behind since the two of us couldn't beat the alpha on our own.

Craig soon caught up to me and ran next to me as we decided that hiding somewhere was the best thing to do because we can't keep running forever. The most amazing thing happened next, there was a cave over to the garden right of us and we could make it if we kept this place but it wouldn't matter if the alpha was right behind us.

As if sensing my thoughts  Craig suddenly picked me up by the neck and ran and when I say ran I mean ran. He used every last bit of strength he currently had to make sure we were safe and now it's up to to do the rest. I dragged him over to a dark corner of the cave and tried to cover up our scents best as I can.

As luck would have it when he came to investigate he searched all corners of the place except for this one, probably thinking that we couldn't hide there since our fur colors were a bit brighter than the rest. He then left after double and triple checking everything.

As soon as he left I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding only for that to be regretted once I heard a voice. (Not the alpha's voice). It was a small voice making it easy to tell that it was an omega. I stepped out of the shadows taking Craig along with me and gasped once I saw who the voices belonged to.
