The Beta On The Run[DISCONTINUED]

Reunion

Ryan's P.O.V

Me and Lui were out getting some food to last us all while watching out for a) other packs and b) a certain terrifying alpha. Guess luck was on our side today but I couldn't help but feel like something good was going to happen.

I could tell that Lui had the same feeling but we just didn't know what was going to happen. It was nearing the night time so we started walking back to our cave with some food in hand. However we heard a gasp and looked up to see someone standing there in shock.

That person looked awfully familiar for some reason and once he started shaking the wolf next to him awake. "Craig Craig! Wake up! Look who it is!" He started bouncing around in total happiness and once it registered what he said I couldn't help the smile that broke out on my own face.

It was Evan! Oh I missed them so much after they helped us escape the alpha we haven't seen them since and we were getting worried. By this point the other beta woke up and did the exact thing Evan did except got interrupted by me and Lui knocking them over and giving them a bear hug.

"Evan! Craig! Where have you been and why are you here?" They both looked over to the side after Lui asked that question. "Well long story short I was caught helping the last of the omegas out of the pack, the alpha caught me, I've been on the run for about an hour and a half until Craig found me, he saved me than we were both on the run, until we found this cav edd and out smarter the alpha up to now." Evan explained.

We both stood there in shock until I started smiling and laughing. They all looked at me confused and asked what was so funny. 'Its just the fact that he didn't see or smell yet when all you were doing was hiding in that dark corner. Especially when you have somewhat brighter fur colors then us."

Once they understood they started laughing too and soon we laughed until our stomach hurt and some of us started wheezing. Soon we all calmed down enough to the point where there were only a few snickers here and there. Craig later asked if they could stay the night and of course we said yes.

Later on we all got situated and slept only to be woken up by an alarmed Lui. He quickly shook us awake and when we asked what's wrong he told us everything and what was going to happen if we didn't get out of there. Once we heard the full story we all paled and started panicking.

4 alphas were heading straight for this cave and the longer we stood here panicking the less of a chance we had to escape. Thankfully we all figured that out and started heading out of the cave as quietly  and quickly as possible only to freeze once we heard someone say "What are they doing?"

I slowly turned my head to see if the alpha's were talking about us and sure enough all 4 of them were staring at us. "Are they talking about us?" Evan whispered only loud enough for me, Lui, and Craig to hear. "Yes they're talking about us, what do you think!" I whispered back.

Then the other 3 looked at the alphas looked at eachother and me. Silently we all agreed to run as fast as we can and try to get away. We took one step and the alphas all got in position to run after us. We knew we weren't going to make it, only by some sort of miracle would it happen but we all risked the chance of getting caught and ran.
