"where am i?" the popular line people ask themselves in fanfiction, yet here it was again. Spoken by Sans. All he did was walk through a door and found himself in some sort of wooden workshop. Sans walked around a bit, picking up the fact that this was an animation studio. Though Sans had fallen asleep standing only about 50 minutes later.

A small, inky demon, found it's way back into reality and out of the lower levels of the animation studio. If he could even call it that. He roamed through the first floor of the building, slowly approaching an unexpected guest. The demon stared at the forms back for a moment before walking around it to see the face, realizing it wasn't human. He backed away cautiously and began walking away at a quick pace-running when he heard someone speak, which was Sans trying to get the demons attention.

Sans' eyesockets opened ever so slightly, and he saw a blurred figure walking away from him. His eyesockets widened as he called out; "hey!" and reached a hand out. The form, seemingly made of ink, started running. Sans' left eye glowed blue as he tried to turn the ink demons soul blue, but nothing happened. So Sans used bones instead, forming a cage around the demon, who turned to Sans in fear. One eye visible at this point. "hey buddy" Sans said with a comedic tone as his eyelights disappeared. Instead of doing much else, he chose to check the demons stats.

Name: Bendy

Hp:162

Exp:50

Lv:9

"how many have you killed?" Sans asked in slight anger. Bendy shakily held up his index finger. "one? be truthful. your exp and hp is too high." Bendy mumbled something and looked down at the floor. "what was that?" Sans said threatingly. "I said..." Bendy spoke with a slightly scratchy voice, as he hadn't spoken in a while, and cleared his throat. "I've only harmed Henry." Sans' eyelights reappeared and he stared at Bendy in surprise. "what...?" "He's my creator. It's a long story, but every time he came back, i kept killing him. I don't know why or how. It's all... so confusing." Bendy confessed. "Uh... sorry. I should stop talking now." sighing, Bendy sat down. Still staring down at the floor as ink dripped from his face.

From Sans' view, they almost looked like tears.
The bones disappeared and Sans sat down in front of Bendy. "where's your soul?" Bendy looked up. "Huh?" Both eyes were covered now. "i tried stopping you from running earlier, but it didn't work... name's sans by the way" Sans put his hands in his pockets as his 'eyes' drifted, facing away from Bendy. "Oh, um... i'd say nice to meet you, but..." "yeah. i made a terrible first impression. sorry 'bout that" Bendy chuckled, "It's ok." he said as he summoned his soul. Sans stared at it, stunned. A once white soul was now pink, right side up, and slowly being mend together by ink. "it's so.." "Broken? Gross? Yeah i know." Bendy cut in before Sans could finish. "what? no! who said that to you?" Sans stared at Bendy angrily. "I did." Bendy whispered as he let his soul go back. Sans' expression softened as he slowly put his hand on Bendy's shoulders. "i was going to say, it's beautiful."

"Wha-" Bendy began to ask in confusion but was cut off as the ink running down his face reached his mouth. Internally sighing, he backed out of Sans' grasp and stood up. Sans stood as well and stared at Bendy in concern. "you alright?" Bendy stood silent for a moment before nodding. Sans was feeling worried, and unsure why his careless demeanor was starting to slip away, but ignored it. He carefully wiped away the dripping ink from Bendy's face, wiping it off on his jacket while adoring Bendy's expression of wide eyes and shock. "Why did you... why?" Bendy whispered, as he couldn't speak properly when nervous. "i want to see you" Sans replied with a calm smile. Bendy's face darkened, though  a small tint of grey was visible. "But.. my soul." "hey." Sans spoke suddenly, causing Bendy to jump a bit and focus on Sans, embarassed. "your soul is unique. sure, it may be a bit torn, but i don't see anything wrong with it. it's healing. now... let's get outta here. what do ya say?" Sans winked with his left eye socket. "Ha.. sure, but how?" Bendy asked with confusion. "don't worry, i know a shortcut" Sans grabbed Bendy's hand -flustering Bendy like heck- and Bendy could feel and see the floor and his surroundings disappear. Freaking out a little, he grabbed onto Sans' jacket with his free hand. Sans was now staring at him in concern. Bendy glanced around and realized he and Sans were in a dark room, mostly blue, with shining crystals on the ceiling. "S-sorry..." Bendy mumbled as he let go of Sans' jacket. "Where are we?" he began to admire his new surroundings as Sans replied; "waterfall. it's a part of the underground under mount ebott." "Mount Ebott?" that sounded vaguely familiar to Bendy. He snapped his fingers as he stared back at Sans. "That's right! Henry told me some time ago about the war. It was a popular subject back then, even though most people didn't want to speak about it ever again." Staring at each other with curiosity, Bendy continued. "What's it like living down here?" Sans noticed that Bendy had the 'curious puppy' look, unaware that they're still holding hands. "uhh... not that bad, i guess. how about you experience it for yourself?" Sans suggested. "You.. want me to live here?" Bendy was, honestly, surprised. "yeah, why not? it's up to you though, pal." Bendy glanced down, noticing his fingers were still interwined with Sans'. "Sorry..um... but i'm, well.. not sure. Uhh.. ink.. and soul, y'know?" Bendy spoke shakily as he let go of Sans, trying to cover it up with a smile as he crossed his arms. Sans walked over to his sentry station that happened to be near by and sat down. "right... forgot about that." Sans mumbled as he motioned for Bendy to come over. Bendy walked over to Sans behind the stand and stood there silently. "sit down" Sans said, staring back at the puzzled demon, who sat on the ground. "not there" Bendy uncrossed his arms. "Are you messing with me?" he said as he stood. "nah. sit here" Sans replied, patting the counter of his stand. "Wha.. you want me to sit there?" Bendy said with dismay. Sans nodded with a grin. "Since when did you become a pervert?" Sans tuned away and blushed nervously. "what? no i didn't mean it like that- i guess i just forgot myself of something, heh." Sans tried to focus on the situation but couldn't think of any puns. That's new. "sorry" Sans mumbled. Bendy stared at Sans curiously, wondering how far he can go before Sans "forgets himself" entirely. He sat on the stand directly in front of Sans, grinning mischeviously as the blue hue on Sans' cheekbones intensified. Sans shook it off, letting his blush fade before glancing at the demon. "Are you ok Sansy~?" Bendy purred as he leaned closer, holding his head up with his hands. Sans refrained from blushing and kept a casual expression, acting completely different than he was moments earlier. Pouting, Bendy sat up straight and began to look around again. "'m perfectly fine, what about you, 'little devil darlin''?" Sans asked. Bendy's eyes widened as he looked back at Sans. "Where'd you hear that?" he asked. "It was on a poster i passed by at the studio. i assumed it was about you because, well, you probably know." Sans replied, hearing a quiet "oh" from Bendy. "I'm fine as well, though. Couldn't get any more awkward." Bendy laughed, but soon went silent. They sat there, avoiding each others gazes and Bendy whispered; "nevermind".
