Two Weeks Later
Dee POV:
" Deka! Starr is here!." I yell from the bottom of the steps.
Her size six in a half feet pitter pattered down the upstairs hall and soon we were met at the foot of the steps. She kisses my nose before going behind me an swooping Starr up and pretending to be a rocket ship and flying around the front room. I chuckled at how goofy they were being. My phone rang interrupting the adorable sight. I look at the caller Id and instantly get aggravated.
" What?" I bark into the phone.
" The Bando has been raided and Omar wants your pretty boy ass here NOW." My homie Greg says just before hanging up.
I look at the time it's a quarter passed twelve. I wave Deka down till she notices me, and stops.
" What's wrong? We being to loud daddy?" Deka teases.
" Heyyy dwats mi dada." Starr said sucking on her binky.
" We can't share?" Deka winks at me.
" No we can." She kisses Dekas nose.
Deka throws Starr back up into the air and Starr laughs as Deka catches her and repeats. I run upstairs and throw on a all black hoodie with some grey sweatpants and my all black air force ones. I grab my gun out the safe and grab a few rounds and head back downstairs to see Deka sitting on the couch watching Steven Universe. I kiss both their heads.
" I'm finna head out. Her momma should be picking her up in a few hours. You can lay her down if she gets tired." I say before leaving.
Getting in the black jeep I gave Deka. I pull up to the trap house and get out. Jogging into the door it was quiet. Maybe they're in the basement. I start walking downstairs and my stomach began to hurt. I walk past my office and still no one in sight. I make my way downstairs when i hear mumbling coming from Omar room. I peak in to see him getting head from the lady i seen on the couch a boot back. I knock. He looks up and moves her head.
I walk in and the woman looks at me wiping saliva off her cheeks. She gets up and pulls her dirty ripped beige dress down and left to the living room. Omar adjusted himself before speaking.
" What you here for pretty boy? I told ya'll I don't need ya'll, because the new recruiters here stalling in."
" Greg called me in and said you wanted me. He said the bando got rai- Enough! I said nothing. " His bass voice bounced off the walls ringing in my ear.
I stare at him for a moment. I turn around and began to walk out the door. Getting into my jeep, I text Deka to see what she was up to and to let her know I'm on my way. I stop at Dominos to pick up a few pizzas. Pulling up to my house all the lights are on and It's 2am I figure Deka got scared as I walk in the house it's quite and Deka was not in sight. I look around she's not here I call her phone and it's on the counter. Where is she?
