Wow writer's block is a son of a bitch.
Once at the coffee shop Peter sat down and put his head in his hands. The bell rang and Flash slid into the other side of the booth.
"Hiya." Peter nodded as a response. "Hey. You know you can't tell anyone, right?" He asked and Looked up.
Flash nodded and shrugged. "I kinda figured." Peter sighed. "And you know you can't treat me any differently in school right? You've gotta keep bullying me or people will get suspicious of the sudden alliance thing."
Flash looked stunned for a moment. "What do you mean, you WANT me to bully you? And even so, I don't even know if I physically CAN knowing you could beat me in a heartbeat."
Peter shrugged. "I mean yeah. You just can't act a whole lot differently, I'll know at this point it's not like permanent and after school some days we can hang out."
"Okay.." Flash said and had to take a moment to think about it. "So this is why you went MIA at the Decathlon? And at the Party? And the school dance? And the field trip? And the-" He rambled on for a bit, sounding like that one skit where it went all 'and when someone eats too much chocolate cake? Or when someone-'
"Yes, Flash, all those times it was because something bad was gonna happen." Peter exclaimed and Flash sat back in his chair.
"Huh." He nodded. "So what now?"
"Well, I've got to go on patrol, but I guess tomorrow we go to school and act like we always do, and I'll ask Mr. Stark if you can come over tomorrow."
"Like, to the compound?" Flash asked and Peter shrugged. "Well yeah, It's a fairly safe place to talk. The only reason we aren't there now is because he was busy with something. Sounded like he was trying to figure out how to bend time or something."
"Wow! That's cool. Okay, I'mma go now but see ya tomorrow?"
"Yup. See you then."
