It's Only You

Chapter 7

It's friday night and Niall comes over. I'm excited because I missed him. I haven't known him for that long but he is a good friend, and the only one. I'm trying to think what we could do tonight but I have no idea. I don't have a good movie Niall will like so I decide to tekst him if he has a good movie. I get out of my pyama's and grab some clothes from my chair. I get a tekst and read it.

Noo, no movienight! I have something fun. You should wear a bikini I'll be at your house in 20 minutes x

What is he planning? I guess something with water because I have to bring my bikini. I walk to my closet and get a blue bikini I bought this summer. I didn't know this little town had a swimmingpool. I get some towels and walk downstairs. Niall should be here any minute.

I hear the doorbell ring and walk to the door. I open the door and see Niall smiling. "Are you ready?" He asks I nod and close the door behind me. "What are we going to do?" Niall walks in front of me and I have to run to catch up with him. "You'll see" Niall gets in the car and I sit next to him. We drive about 30 minutes and I think we left the town.

Niall stops in front of the lake. It is a beautiful open spot between some trees. I look up at the sky and see a million stars. It's breath taken. Niall walks the grass and sits down. "It's so beautiful here." I say and Niall nods. "I come here alot. You know when I want to be alone or just want to relax." I look to the water and I see the water reflects the big full moon.

We sit in silent watching the calm water and listening the wind. "What was it like back home?" Niall asks out of the blue. I think a few moments. I do miss it. "It was alot warmer than now. We never had autumn or winter, it was summer everyday. I was on a big school and everybody lives their own life. I had one best friend Sarah, and I really like it there"

"Why did you move here?" Niall looks at me. "My mom always had this dream to move to Texas. My dad left us a few months ago, my mom was broken. She couldn't life in the same house she and dad had lived. She told us we would move to another house in California so we could finish our school. But I don't know what changed her mind and before I knew it, my mom bought a house here."

I remember yelling at her. I told her she was ruining my life and she didn't has a heart. I feel sorry for that now, but I was so mad at that moment. I had a good life and I didn't wanted to move away. It still doesn't feels like I'm going to life here for the rest of my life. It feels like a vacation and I can go when every I want. I wish it was like that.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know your dad left you. Why did he do that?"

"No don't feel sorry, I'm over it. He had another woman for like 2 years. My mom knew it but she just couldn't loose him. It was heartbreaking to see her like that but when my dad told her that he made that other woman pregnant she lost it. She threw him out of the house and told us we could never see our dad again. I mean, it's not a big deal I was never really close with him but he is still my dad."

I never told someone this before. Even Sarah doesn't know this. She thinks we moved because my mom always wanted to go here and my dad couldn't go with us because he has his job back home. I don't know why I told Niall, it feels so easy to talk him.

Niall stays silent for a few seconds. "You've been through alot I hear. Well if you need me I'm always here okay?" I smile and nod. Niall stands up and pulls off his shirt and pants. He is only in his boxers now. "Yeh I know, I told you to bring your bikini but I forget my swimming trunks." I laugh.

Niall runs to the water and jumps in it. I stand up and look to him. "Oh my god isn't the water cold?" Niall smiles. "No it's good c'mon in" I undress myself untill I'm only in my bikini. The cold wind blows against my bare skin. I shiver. I ignore the feeling and jump into the water. With a scream I swim back to the grass. "Niall it's freezing." He laughs and swims back to me. "Sorry I thought it would be funny to see you like this.

I puss myself out the water and sit on the grass. Niall get out the water to and jumps in again. "You are crazy" I laugh. He looks so cold. I walk back to my bag. Thank god I brought two towels. Niall walks to me and I give him one. "Thanks" Niall shivers.

We sit down on the grass again and talk for a long time. He told me about how he moved from Ireland to Texas. I already could here from his accent he wasn't from America. He has one brother but he only lives with his mom and dad at home. I love listening to his story.

I see something move behind the trees. "Niall" I whisper. "There is something behind that tree" Niall turns around and looks in the direction I point. We sit still for a minute, waiting 'till something happens. A big dog walks away from the tree in our direction. I breaht out, I didn't know I was holding my breath. I hear a familiar voice. "Gus come back here!"

Harry appears from behind a tree and looks me right in the eye. He is everywhere. "What are you doing here?" I ask Harry. "I was talking a walk with my dog, what are you two doing here?" I want to answer but Niall is faster. "We are just hanging out" Harry nods and stands there awkward. "Well I'll see you later Andrea, C'mon Gus." Harry walks back from where he came from and the big dog runs after him.

"Ok that was creepy" Niall says and I nod, I don't know what to say. Everywhere I am, Harry always shows suspicious. Niall stands up and puts his shirt back on. "C'mon let's go home, it's running late." I get my stuff together and we walk back in silence to the car.

At 12 o'clock we arrive at my house and Niall walk with me to the door. "Thanks, I had a fun night." I say and Niall smiles. "No problem hun, I had fun to." We stand there for a few seconds without saying a thing. I open the door and look at him. "See you on monday then." Niall walks to me and hugs me. I hug back and I feel my cheeks getting red. Thank god it's dark outside. Niall kisses my cheek. "See you on monday." He walks back to his car and I walk inside.

My mom is sitting on the cough looking at me. "Who is this guy?" Ohno, I had a fun night and she isn't going to ruin it for me. "It's Niall, a friend of me from school." My mom nods slow and smiles. I smile back and say goodnight. I walk upstairs, get in my pyama's again and I close my curtains. I look outside at the end of the dark street and I see the big black dog Niall and I saw back at the lake. It's Harry's dog.

I feel my phone buzzing and open the tekst.

How does he has my number? I'm getting more paranoid the more I think about it. I puss the thoughts away and lay down on my bed. I close my eyes and before I know it I'm sleeping.
