chaeyoung x chanyeol
it's been almost six months since chanyeol—one of the popular band in his highschool's member—and chaeyoung who was a sweet and innocent girl started dating. chanyeol was popular with his playboy image, while chaeyoung often called by the church girl because she joined the church's choir and she's just too innocent. none of their friends would expect for those two people with a very different personality would end up together.
but like what others said, opposites attract most.

the first time they met each other was when summer and chanyeol was being forced to go to the church by his family. there he met chaeyoung who happened to join the church's choir. he couldn't help but mesmerized by her honey like voice when she's singing. their first introduction was after the mass when chanyeol's father met with his bestfriend who's chaeyoung's father.
"hey, i'm chanyeol." he said as he reached out his hand. "you have a nice voice there."
chaeyoung blushed and shook chanyeol's hand. "thank you. btw, i'm chaeyoung."
from there, they started being friends. when chaeyoung realized that he's the popular yet playboy chanyeol, she decided to not show their friendship at school when the school already started. but chanyeol did the otherwise, since he suddenly put his arm around chaeyoung's neck when she's walking at the corridor and the action of course gained so many attention as all of the students there looking at them with wide eyes—like they couldn't believe with what they saw—and started whispering with each other. that made chaeyoung sighed.
"what happened, chae?"
"i just hate it when people staring at me like that.." chaeyoung said and pouted. "..and it's all because of you, mr popular."
and chanyeol just laughed at his bestfriend's statement, not really minding other students who still staring at them.
they being friends for about a year, until chanyeol suddenly told her that he'd play the piano for the choir the next sunday. throughout their friendship, chanyeol was still the same—the one who often chose to spend the sunday with her bandmates, instead of going to the church. so when he told her the news, chaeyoung couldn't believe it at first.
"you're joking, right?"
chanyeol frowned. "yah, is it that hard to believe that i'll play piano for the choir?"
being the sensitive one, chaeyoung felt bad when she saw the frown on chanyeol's face. "i-i'm sorry, chanyeol-ah. t-that's not what i mean. i'm just a little bit surprise at the news."
"hey, chae, i'm just joking there. no need to feel bad. besides, i'd be surprised too if i were you." chanyeol said.

it's sunday and like what chanyeol said, he played the piano and chaeyoung singing with the choir. chanyeol might already perform so many times with his band in front of so many people, but performing with the church's choir felt different. believe it or not, he started to like it. so, after that day he asked the choir director whether he could join them every sunday. he bowed ninety degrees when the choir director nodded her head and accepted him in the team.
"chae, i have a good news for you!!" chanyeol said when he visited the girl's house, which was just few house from the church.
"what?"
"i'm gonna perform with the church's choir every sunday now!"
right after he said that, chaeyoung immediately tackled him into a big tight hug and it made chanyeol laughed at her despite his fast beating heart.
"i'm so happy, yeollie!! that means we can go hang out after the mass ends." chaeyoung said with a wide smile on her face.

it was when they celebrated the new year's eve with chaeyoung's and chanyeol's close friends at chaeyoung's backyard since it was super large. they divided into teams and each team had a job, such as making the campfire, grilled the meat, prepared the drinks and fireworks. when the clock hit twelve, everyone shouted happy new year as the tossed their glass with each other.
"happy new year, chae!" chanyeol said as he tossed his glass with cola inside it, with chaeyoung's glass.
"happy new year too, yeollie! another year for our friendship."
"oh, about that- can we talk to somewhere private, chae?"
chaeyoung nodded as she led the way to the living room which was empty, since her parents were going to another town and her sister went to her bestfriend's. "what happened?"
"uh, i- i don't know where to start, but-" chanyeol said while scratching his neck nervously. he heaved a sigh before continuing his words with eyes now staring at chaeyoung's. "i like you, chaeyoung-ah."
chaeyoung widened her eyes when she heard his confession. "a- are you serious, park chanyeol?"
"i've never been more serious than this, chae." he said then kneeled in front of chaeyoung while holding her hands. "so, i'm asking you now. would you like to be my girlfriend, park chaeyoung?"
the latter smiled widely and nodded her head furiously. she pulled the guy to help him stood up, before giving a him her very tight hug. she buried her face on the crook of chanyeol's neck. chanyeol then suddenly lifted her up and swirled around, making the latter screaming and chanyeol just laughed her heart out.
"aaahhhh, put me down, park chanyeol!!!"
chanyeol obliged and put her down. he then gave a peck on her chipmunk cheeks. "thanks for being my girlfriend, chae."

they then became inspareable whether in school or not. all of the students soon learned that they already became a couple, when they saw chaeyoung tip toed and pecked chanyeol's cheek. eversince they got together, chanyeol became a one woman man. he never look at any other girl except the one in front of him, park chaeyoung. whenever they together, chanyeol always stare at the girl with full of adoration in his eyes.
but one thing that they never do since chanyeol's confession which was several months ago, kissing each other on the lips.
chanyeol might be a playboy back then and had kissed so many girls, but it's different with chaeyoung. it was her first relationship and she never kissed anyone on the lips before. she wanted to give her first kiss to the man she love. chanyeol being whipped for his girlfriend, respected her decision and willingly wait for her until she's ready.
until it's the graduation day and as expected chaeyoung being one of the valedictorian in their highschool. chanyeol couldn't be any prouder for his girlfriend when she's giving her speech in front of the students.
"hey. i'm sorry for being late."
chaeyoung turned her head and smiled. "no problem, i just got here too."
chanyeol took a seat beside chaeyoung and enjoying seoul's night view from the rooftop, their favorite place to have a date.
"chanyeol-ah." chaeyoung called and the latter turned his head at her. "i love you."
the guy widened his eyes at the sudden confession then smiled widely. he hugged her tight. "i love you too, chae."
just when he's about to break the hug, chaeyoung suddenly grabbed his collar and crashed their lips. chanyeol was shocked at first, but when he saw her closed her eyes, he started to kiss her back. they kissed for awhile until air became necessary.
"t- that was good." chaeyoung panted and blushed, making the guy chuckled at her cuteness.
"thanks for making me your first kiss, chaeyoung-ah."
