it was almost 10 in the evening when yoongi opened the door of his apartment and walked inside, only to be greeted with a dark and empty living room. he went straight to the kitchen, turn the light on and grab some water. he then walked to his bedroom.
a smile crept onto his handsome face when he heard a faint singing voice from inside his bathroom.
she's home already.
not long after, the shower slowly turned off and the bathroom's door about to open.
the girl who just wrapped her slim body in a towel gasped in suprise when she saw yoongi standing on the bedroom door. she smiled at him as he approached her with a smile on his face too.
"you're home already." she whispered.
"and so are you." he replied, closing the distance between them as he cupped her cheeks and leaned to capture her lips lovingly. they shared a kiss for a minute before yoongi break it and hugged her. "i miss you, chae."
she sighed in relief as she hugged him back. "i miss you sooo much too, oppa."
silence engulfed both of them as they enjoyed each other's presence. yoongi's face buried into the crook of her bare neck, inhaling deeply her freshly showered scent. chaeyoung's giggle broke the silence when he suddenly gave her neck some playful kisses.
"yaah, stop it oppa." she giggled as she tried to push his body. "let me change my clothes first. and you should take a shower too oppa. you smell."
yoongi stopped and peeled himself off of her body. he lifted an eyebrow when he saw her playfully sticking her tongue out at him. he chuckled at her then went into the bathroom. "i'll be quick."
when yoongi said that he'd be quick, he's right because not until ten minutes later, he stepped outside his bathroom all freshened up, wearing a black short along with plain white shirt. he instantly smiled when he saw his girlfriend who's busy drying her hair with a small towel.
"let me help you with that."
chaeyoung stopped and looked up at him who smiled at her, signalling her to give him the towel and so she did. yoongi then seated himself behind her before started to drying her hair.
"how's japan?" he suddenly asked.
"it was suuuper fun, oppa. there were so many fans who came to the fanmeeting. gosh, i still can't believe that i have that many fans."
he chuckled hearing her story. "you've got to start believe it now, chae. you're one of the top solo artist in korea that has a lot of fans all around the world tho."
"don't exaggerate things like that, oppa." she blushed. "how about you? you said you had a meeting with one of the agency today?"
yoongi hummed. "they asked me to be a producer for their artist's new album and i agreed, so we signed a contract." he said and stood up. "done."
"come here, oppa. i miss my personal heater." chaeyoung said after yoongi put the towel to its place, as she patted the space next to her.
he smiled widely as he happily went to the other side of the bed and laid next to his girlfriend. he set the pillow and rested his head on it as his left arm opened, signalling the singer to lay beside him. chaeyoung positioned herself inside yoongi's arm with her head leaned comfortably on his chest. she smiled to herself when she could hear her boyfriend's fast heartbeat. even after all these years of dating, they still give each other's effect like the first time they met.
"oppa?" he hummed. "sing me a song?"
"nah.. you're the singer and i'm just a song producer. i can't sing, chaeng."
chaeyoung lifted her head and looked at him giving him her puppy eyes which no one can resist, especially min yoongi. he closed his eyes and sighed, knowing well that he'd agree the second chaeyoung looked at him like that.
"get ready for my bad voice, okay?"
she smiled widely as he finally agreed to sing her a song. she pecked her boyfriend's lips before back to her early position.
"i know i'd be the luckiest girl to be the only few who can hear your beautiful hidden voice."
he cracked a smile when he heard that genuine comment from his girlfriend. "okay, here it is.."

"i love you, chaeyoung-ah." he said as he rubbed chaeyoung's pink hair lovingly.
instead of getting an 'i love you too' from the girl above him, he could hear a soft snore coming from chaeyoung. yoongi smiled knowing that his girlfriend was already asleep on his chest. he then pulled up the blanket and covered them both, before giving a loving goodnight kiss on top of her head and joined his girlfriend into the dreamland.
"sleep tight, gorgeous."
