Violet's POV:
"I thought you had a class." I said as Arrow joined me on my walk to the cafeteria. "I do, but it got cancelled. Now I can have lunch with you." He said with a small smile. I smiled too and hoped that Richard wouldn't mind having another visitor for lunch today. After we got our food I suggested going to the garden instead of the library. "That's actually a good idea. Everyone's going insane due to the end of term. The library will be a madhouse." He said as we gathered our things and walked outside. Unlike yesterday, the sky was a beautiful blue with fluffy white clouds floating around. Golden sunlight was shinning down, and a light breeze was blowing. It was cool, but not cold which is actually my favorite kind of weather. Several people were walking around but no one was playing frisbee or reading underneath trees. When we reached the garden we made sure the bench was dry before sitting down. We didn't wanna get out butts wet from rain. "Do you come here every Tuesday and Thursday?" Arrow asked, breaking the comfortable silence. "Yeah. It's beautiful isn't it?" I replied. "Very beautiful." He agreed with a small smile on his face. We started eating our food and I kept an eye out for Richard, but he never came. It made me sad, especially since he said he'd see me today. 'Maybe he got busy or had a meeting to go to.' I thought inside of my head. But I was still rather sad I didn't get to see or talk to him. We hung out in the garden until it was time to go. After throwing away our trash we walked to our poetry class together. The two of us took our seats and waited as other students filled the room. Professor Green walked in and took roll call before we started today's lesson. The entire time I was preoccupied by thoughts of Richard, but it wasn't as bad as it was when I was in professor Till's class. At least Miss. Green was interesting and made the class fun. I deeply love poetry already though. After we turned in our poems she went through a little slideshow before we started our next assignment. As soon as I was finished I grabbed my sketchbook from my backpack and started drawing. Lately all I've been drawing are pictures of Richard along with a few flowers. After we were dismissed I noticed that professor Green was coming in my direction, so I turned the page to a previous sketch of a flower I had done. "What were you drawing?" She asked me curiously as she sat down in the desk in front of me. "A flower." I replied as I turned my sketchbook so she could see it better. "That looks beautiful. You're a really gifted artists." She said with a small smile on her lovely face. "Thanks." I replied with a big smile. "Is that your major?" She asked me curiously as I started packing up. I told her that I was majoring in fine arts and she complemented me a bit more. Arrow waited on me while I talked to professor Green. Once we said our goodbyes he and I walked down the hall together. We talked for a while before we said our own goodbyes. He went to the library to do some studying and I headed outside. I was going to go to the car so I could go home, but deep down I just wanted to see Richard. Since I didn't get to see him during lunch I figured I'd go ahead and see if he was in the garden right now. 'Joe doesn't get home until four or four thirty. I can just hang out with Richard for a while before I go home.' I thought inside of my head. So I walked down the sidewalk instead of going towards the parking lot. When I got to the garden I could have done a happy dance right then and there, but I didn't. He was sitting on the bench reading a newspaper just like when I met him. "Hey, where were you at lunch time?" I asked, which caught his attention. When he looked up my heart skipped a few beats when our eyes met. Those eyes of his were so beautiful and mesmerizing. "I'm sorry, I had some work I needed to do." He said with an apologetic look in his big brown eyes. "It's okay. I missed you though. But Arrow was with me, so I wasn't alone." I said with a small smile as I seat down next to him. He folded up the newspaper he was reading and I noticed what he was wearing. He had on a navy blue suit with a black tie and a white undershirt. "At least you weren't alone," He said with a small smile. "Come here. Maybe this will make up for me missing our little lunch date." He said with an attractive smile on his handsome face. I moved closer to him and we met in the middle of the bench. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach as he wrapped his arms around me. I wanted to snuggle closer to him, but I didn't. My insides melted from his warmth and how wonderful he smelled. "That makes up for everything." I said with a smile. He chuckled lightly with a beautiful sparkle in his eyes. "Good." He replied and I felt myself blush. 'He's so cute I can't handle it!!' I said inside of my head. The two of us talked about my classes and how they were doing. When I told him the grades I had his professor side really came out. He was happy that I was getting good grades. "I would love to have you as one of my students. You're one of the good ones." He said with a look on his face that I couldn't really decipher. "Next semester I'm taking English, so I'll definitely try and take one of your classes." I replied. "That's just it. I'm not even sure if I'll be teaching next semester." He said as he ran his fingers through his curly, fluffy looking hair. My heart sorta dropped and I wondered why he wasn't sure if he would be teaching classes next semester or not. "What do you mean?" I asked with furrowed brows. "Well... I was debating on taking a break. A little vacation." He replied. "Oh... well... everyone needs a vacation every now and then." I said, running my arm slightly. As we sat there quietly I found myself glancing over at him. Everything about him looked so beautifully handsome. Even his hands looked perfect. I suddenly had the urge to hold his hand, just to see how they felt and how big they were compared to mine. "You're blushing." He said, taking me out of my thoughts. When we made eye contact I notice an extra sparkly look in his heart melting eyes. I gently bit my bottom lip as I looked down and played with my fingers. Him pointing out that I was blushing just made me blush even more. "Hey. It's okay. There's no harm in having a little crush on someone." He said softly as he gently rubbed my shoulder. When our eyes met I figured I probably looked like a tomato. "Is it really that obvious?" I asked him curiously after a few minutes of quiet passed between us. "Well... only to me probably. I've been around for a while. I know how a girl looks when she has a crush on someone." He said with a smile that made my heart race. Those eyes of his were dewy and sparkly. There was just something about him that makes me so soft. I felt so shy and embarrassed that he knew how he was making me feel, but he seemed okay with it. The two of us ended up laying down on the cool soft grass and watch the passing clouds. I wished he and I could have spent a lot more time together, but I knew we couldn't. He's a busy professor and I have my classes to think about. Plus I doubt he'd wanna spend more than a hour or so with a student even if we were kinda friends. Or... lunch buddies. "I better get going. I have a lot of homework to do." I said as I sat up. "I'm glad we got to spend some time together. I hope you get all of your homework finished as well. The end of term can be hectic." He replied as he sat up too. There were a few strands of grass in his hair, and I laughed slightly. I told him about the grass in his hair; he attempted to get the grass out, but wasn't very successful. "Here, let me get it." I said with a small laugh. He stayed still as I got the grass clippings out of his hair. I wasn't surprised that his hair really was as soft as it looked. "Did you get it?" He asked me curiously. "Yeah, I got it." I replied with another laugh. We stood up and he closed the distance between us and pulled me into a hug. Honestly, I was shocked when he wrapped his arms around me but maybe that's because it was our first hug. Plus I've never hugged any of my teachers before. I don't even think I've hugged any of my Elementary school teachers, but I could have blocked it out of my memory for some odd reason. I wrapped my arms around him too and gently snuggled into his chest. "I'll see you as soon as possible. I promise to be here Thursday so we can have lunch together." He said before we broke the hug. "I promise I'll be here too." I said before we said our goodbyes. As I walked towards my car I couldn't help the smile that was on my face. I put my backpack on the passenger seat and buckled up before turning on the radio like always. When I got to my uncle's place I parked the jeep he let me borrow in the garage. I walked into the house and started on my homework before taking a bath. Once I was finished I put on a pair of Slytherin shorts on along with one of my Slytherin t-shirts. I was going to start cooking dinner, but the sound of Joe pulling into the driveway stopped me. I unlocked the door for him and he walked in with a smile on his face. "I have a surprise for you." He said happily. "You didn't have to get me anything. It isn't even my birthday." I said, feeling taken off guard. "Well, I think you'll like this surprise." He said smiling. My parents walked in and I attacked them with a hug. I've been missing them for a while now, and I guess Joe noticed that. We said our hellos and hugs went all around. They mentioned going out to dinner with us, so I had to change again. I put on a pair of light blue jeans and, but I kept my Slytherin t-shirt on. All four of us got into the Joe's car and headed to the nearest diner. My parents asked about my classes and I told them everything about my grades. I told them about how much I like my professors, excluding professor Till. Then I spoke of Arrow. I left out Richard though. I didn't think they needed to know about my crush on one of the teachers at the university. "I'm so glad that you made a new friend, sweetie." My mom said happily. My dad joked about me probably being annoying to Joe since we've been living together for a little over a month. "She's been wonderful actually. She helps me cook, clean, wash clothes and everything. I might just keep let her move in permanently." Joe said with a small smile on his face, and I smiled as well. I honestly wouldn't mind living with my uncle permanently but I knew I'd miss my parents a lot. I ordered some waffles and a nice hot cup of black coffee. After we finished eating we took a walk around the park before heading back to the house. My parents ended up spending the night, because they didn't wanna drive in the night. I had to go to bed early because I had to get up early for my classes tomorrow morning. After I changed into my pajamas and climbed into bed. I was in such a good mood I kinda wished it was the weekend just so I couldn't spend more time with my mom and dad. I switched off the lights and slowly drifted into a deep sleep. I was laying in the grass next to Richard watching the white fluffy clouds floating in the sky past us. We turned to face each other and his beautiful eyes made my insides melt like always. He slowly closed the distance between us and captured my lips with his. His lips felt so soft and perfect. I gently kissed him back and moved closer to him. I placed my hands on his chest as I moved a little closer to him. He wrapped his arms around me and I tangled my fingers in his soft hair as we kissed each other. Suddenly I jolted awake by the sound of my alarm going off. I groaned as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and stretched. Deep down I desperately wanted my dream to have been real, but I kinda knew it wasn't that lucky. Especially since I wasn't as nervous as I should have been about kissing him. My dream lingered in my head as I got out of bed and got read to go to college.
