I decided to mess with Layla's hair because... well, she's cute with her half and half hair. I know that I can get creepy sometimesーbutーit's part of my charm, but luckily, Layla doesn't know that so; Points for me. Suddenly Layla turns around and says "Don't touch my hair" I fork through my hair with irritation and glare at her, I see the fear cloud her face for a split second, and it vanished. It hurt me a little, but I always say the first thing in mind "Sorry princess," I spat at her. I turned away from her and finished writing the notes on the board, I noticed that Layla had already finished the notes although she had got to her seat right before the bell had finished ringing.

"Okay, class, you should be finished with the notes," Mrs. Curtis cut in, I flinched slightly because of her booming voice.

~Time Skip~

There were 30 minutes left of class. I had decided to pass Layla a note that read ' i'm sorry for what happened earlier, i didn't mean anything by it...' I heard her scribbling and she slid the sticky note back to me 'it's fine, just don't snap at me like that and there won't be any problems',' that's all I had time to read before Mrs. Curis snatched it out of my hand,

"Looks like these two have something that they would like to share with the class!" She hissed, Mrs. Curtis began walking to the front of the room smiling with twisted amusement. She cleared her throat, looking in my direction, "'I'm sorry for what happened earlier, I didn't mean anything by it...' 'It's fine just don't snap at me like that and there won't be any problems, friends?', huh..." That was all she said before she tossed the note into the trash can, Layla looked at me smiling awkwardly and she stuck out her hand for me to shake

"Friends?" I took her hand barely holding on and shook it, feeling her soft baby-like skin on my somewhat rough skin. "Friends," I said in agreement attempting to hide the blush that fought its way onto my face. The girls sitting across from us gawked and hissed

"Oh my god, she's blushing! Layla (or whatever your name is) Kirami is totally, like, gay for you, run while you still can!" Layla quickly pulled her and away, my hand felt cold as the air hit it, my fingers combed my bangs back and I stared at them, my pupils thinning in hostility, they swallowed. "I think you owe me and my friend here an apology..." the two girls exchanged glances, I smirked with irritation "Do think that that was an option? Apology.... Now" I barked, they flinched "S-sorry..." I glanced at Layla who had a sick, twisted smile on her face when she looked at me, I noticed something that was looming over her, it was all black and had red slits in its eyes and its body was covered in snake scales like a Black Mamba and it had the same smile that Layla had but the aura was much worse. "What?" Layla asked the smile not leaving her face, I pointed to the thing behind her, that exhilarating smile faded as she got up and turned around staring at the monstrosity with horror, she turned her head to look at me with a sideways glare "Don't look at it, the more attention you give it the longer it will stay..." her voice was ominous, I obeyed her and looked away, luckily no one else was looking at the abomination that Layla created.

I heard her sigh as she sat down "Thanks for warning me," she said flatly. I was still slightly shaken by what just happened, I managed to plaster a smile on my face and turn towards her. She nodded and proceeded to finish the worksheet that had been passed out, I watched her walk, her hair slightly swaying with each gentle step she took to the pink plastic box Mrs. Curtis had to turn in worksheets and homework. Layla then pushes her black skirt on her thighs and sits down, pulling out a sketchbook, she wraps a piece of her hair behind her ear and begins drawing what looks like my face and my bangs that covered my eyes. I look over at her drawing to get a better look.

"Is that me?" I purred in her ear, she flinched and pulled the sketchbook to her chest in a protective manner.

"I didn't say you could look." She said in a blank voice, I gritted my teeth, trying not to say anything. A "Sorry," was I could muster, she just shook her head and continued to draw.

The bell rang.

Layla gathered her things and left before I could say her name and she was gone.

I got up trying to walk after her, I only saw the top of her head, but once I thought caught up to her she wasn't where I thought she was. I gave up and went to class.
